What about Conte to Ten Hag?Going from Conte to Potter would be one of the biggest Levy disaster in terms of fucking shit up and there weren’t only a few.

At this point if it doesn't happen then It was an indeed a huge waste of time. Conte wouldn't have even considered the opportunity if he wasn't serious, so anything holding it up is likely not unreasonable or at least expected if you are bringing Conte in (financial backing, keeping Kane).Agree but this is on Levy. If we are not in a financial position to support a Conte we should never have gone down that route and raised fan expectations. Ten Hag and Potter are the obvious development/project managers to pick (other than Poch) with proven project development skills working with young players, tight budgets playing progressive Pep style football. I had no issue with either of them and they IMO would do well with us.
Conte is a superstar manager who would need a superstar budget, that means big transfers and big wages. You don’t go down that route unless you are serious about the financial backing.
If you're Levy the first thing you'll do is reverse the charges.If I'm Daniel Levy and I'm serious about Conte and taking the club to the next level, I'm gonna get on the phone to Kane this morning and say;
You're the best striker in Europe. If you weren't at Spurs, I'd buy you for Conte. If we bring him in, does this prove we're serious about this?
If Kane says yes, I'd be going all in on Conte. Salary? Yep. Staff? Yep. Transfer budget? Yep. All of the things.
People are rating him as 3rd to 5th best in the world.
Is he behind Guardiola? He's spent a billion quid at city and failed to win the CL.
Is he behind Klopp? Scraped into the CL in the last days this season.
Who else is there that could be above Conte?
It's been a week since Spurs made contact with Conte's agent, during which time Conte also had talks with Madrid and PSG. Substantive talks with Conte started 3 days ago.Agree with others that this has a very Dybala vibe to it
That and the january window where we supposedly went running around Spain with a pot of money throwing in "Phoney" bids for Aguero , Rossi etc
This whole process has gone on for far too long , bordering on complete embarrassment , if we do get Conte then you can say it will be justified but if we don't then the club has reached new levels of incompetence
I'll take 3rd best manager in the world at Spurs.People are rating him as 3rd to 5th best in the world.

Klopp for me is the best at the moment. Guardiola is crazy good with crazy money.
Kane isn't going to sulk, either, because he wants to break Shearer's record. He's stuck at the moment but he's probably off next summer unless Conte convinces him otherwise.Kane doesn’t need convincing LOL. He has one contract that runs up in 3 years. It’s not rocket science
Well yeah he pulled a stinker in the final. But tuchel is very good. It’s not like he got done by big Sam or tactics TimHard to deny Guardiolas status, but I have to say he definitely went down in my estimation in the CL final.
Chelsea were there for the taking and somehow he contrived to hand it to them pretty much from the start.
He's a fat WUM ala Moodyan Italian Journo, Tancredi Palmeri, who I’ve never heard of before
