Although, sounds like Conte tends to say ‘I’ll join if you confirm I can spend 150 million and get me these four players’.
Levy might have made positive noises initially but had to explain that the only way we spend that is if Kane is sold.

Conte will come. Makes zero sense bringing the Italian DOF and not conte with him. This is a do or die season for us. We can challenge the big clubs or become another Everton or villa.

You have to think about the rest of the conversation too.

and levy would obviously reply with " great players but how about these cheaper options instead plus you get to keep winks and dier and doherty"
So Conte having doubts might not be completely out of the picture.
