I can't help but agree. I also think it's likely to be the first order of business for the new DOF.
It's highly likely Levy and this person have been in discussions and Levy will have sounded out preliminary candidates. Once the new DOF comes on board he will pick up the baton and take us to the line.
In the interim, clueless hacks will get themselves in a spin and feast on the clickbait they're able to troll out, late thanking Spurs once again for the spread.
I think it would be a little strange to sign a manager, and perhaps players, then to sign a DOF. Makes much more sense to be DOF first. If this is the chap they tried to sign three years ago and he's finally become available isn't that the most likely reason for a delay?
Levy paid a wedge for Jose, I believe if we wanted Potter or Ten he would have paid the release fee by now as that and their salary really wont be that high.
