But seriously, Paulo Fonseca is a good coach, I hope he will be supported by our fans. He plays good football, this second season in Roma n was good in the League, but he reached the semi-finals of the Europa League with merit and he was champion in Ukraine 3 consecutive times.

Fonseca is the kind of name you get if your new DoF gets the same criteria as Hitchens, but is much more comfortable with European leagues than the Premier League.

No idea how you conclude that this is less risky than Potter or Ten Hag. I wasn't really hoping for either of those two, but they seem to be leagues above Fonseca. We dithered on this appointment for 7 full weeks before this?

Fonseca and Potter are pretty similar in profile.

People will cry that Potter has "higher upside" but Fonseca's Roma also had advanced stats saying they were better than they were.
