Those are your positives. On the negatives, he's not a clearly great manager. But if you give an Italian DoF the same criteria that Spurs publicly mentioned, he's definitely the name that would come up on the list, that an English guy probably wouldn't put on the list. We dithered for 7 weeks because our chairman decided to try to go for Conte or having Pochettino come back. If we hadn't wasted time on that, we'd already have a guy. If we wanted to wait for a DoF after realizing we needed someone else to make the choice other than Levy, then this is the situation you get.

And the sad truth is that there really aren't many coaches in Europe who fit the brief we're looking for. Unusually so, you would think there would be more.

I would have much, much preferred ten Hag, not sure which side said no there.
 
Looks like fonseca. 3 year deal. Plays possession attacking free flowing football and likes to promote youth playing 4-3-2-1 or 3-4-2-1. Did read we want boss before euros start. Obvious so can use as shop window. Good profile imo. Heard new italian dof is meant to be a genius. Reckon they will be announced together in press conference imo. Hope it works out. Intriguing.

I do not get it. How the fuck do we go with Paulo Fonseca. Levy needs to resign tomorrow if this is choice. I did not want Conte but that looks like a dream appointment now. Levy is more than a disgrace he is utterly clueless. If we appoint Fonseca it will be an empty stadium. Son will go see you later as well and that is the end the Korean tourists.
