Season 3 Smiling GIF by The Simpsons

hes crap got sacked by roma in 7th. replaced by a past it mourinho hes the cheap option
He plays the high-possession style the club has mentioned, likes to work with youth, and like Potter, had underlying numbers way ahead of his results. So he's going to show up on the list. Roma being even more of a rubbish fire than us means that the finishing position might not be considered representative by those with more familiarity with Serie A than you or I.

I have zero interest in the coming season.

Whilst Levy/ENIC are still here I won't be buying a stitch of merch.

Not one thing.

Not one red cent will be spent.

That dirty little shinehead rat needs to get the FUCK out of my fucking club.

No idea how you conclude that this is less risky than Potter or Ten Hag. I wasn't really hoping for either of those two, but they seem to be leagues above Fonseca. We dithered on this appointment for 7 full weeks before this?
Unlike Potter, he does have experience with the egos and media shitshows that come with managing a high-profile club. Unlike Ten Hag, he does have experience getting results in leagues that have competent defences.

Those are your positives. On the negatives, he's not a clearly great manager. But if you give an Italian DoF the same criteria that Spurs publicly mentioned, he's definitely the name that would come up on the list, that an English guy probably wouldn't put on the list. We dithered for 7 weeks because our chairman decided to try to go for Conte or having Pochettino come back. If we hadn't wasted time on that, we'd already have a guy. If we wanted to wait for a DoF after realizing we needed someone else to make the choice other than Levy, then this is the situation you get.
