Sky Sports already showing the interview where he wore a Zorro mask.

Banter club and yet some on here are defending the appointment.

Are they Spurs fans or Levy fans?

It's a disaster. No point hoping he'll succeed as it's doomed to fail from the get go.

No.

I don't get why people are happy to have ten Haag or Potter over Foncea, while he's clearly outperformed both of these managers at some point or in Potter's case the entire season.
Because they’re more interesting

Why the fuck would I be happy with a guy who’s done nothing significant in his career? At Shakhtar he lucked on Lucescu’s work and left the moment shit started to hit the fans. Guy’s the most painfully average appointment that we could ever get. I don’t rate Potter but even he would be more interesting

Yes I know what Brighton have done and I'll say again I wouldn't have a problem if Potter was appointed.

Roma is a basket case club, changing owners, sacking DoF's and managers faster than us.

What I don't get is Potter is being mentioned because of his xG (a reward for his ability to set up a team but not have a top-rated attack at his disposal), I've not watched Roma, so I'm not making a case for Fonceca (I know FUCK ALL about him) but if you rate Potter why the fuck don't you rate the guy that has an even better under stat of xG than Potter (Roma's is one of the best in Europe)!
The transferability from Serie A to the PL is an added concern.

I don’t think it’s contradictory to be OK with Potter but unhappy with Fonseca.

Is this a ploy? Is this because Levy expects Poch to be available in the near future and doesn't want to commit to anything long term?

Is this a cheap one nighter?

Just seen the news and the explosion of posts on the subject. Cannot read them all but mostly negative. Do not know much about him but there are many other names that I considered worse on the poll list. He has won trophies and plays attacking football.
Clearly Levy rattled by the criticism of not appointing a Manager.
Not a done deal but really looks like it will happen.
Overall I really do not know what to think. I went for Ten Hag but not sure he was a better choice but never could understand the backing for Potter.
