I feel like I’ve distracted enough from this thread with talk that has nothing to do with transfers, but I’m sorry that I’ve made what you feel is a grossly callous comment. I’m generally a career fence sitter who leans on the side of defending most of the clubs actions, so I’ll try to be more vanilla with future posts :dierpochhug:

As you see fit! 👍

Ward prowse , really ?

Haven't we got enough average workhorse midfield players ffs

How about adding a bit of real quality in that position, just an idea

We've needed a rock solid #6 for ages; if that's this guy and he opens us up to a 433 to have faith in then let's not quibble...

Solve the 6, unsolve the 8.

Depending on Skipp’s progress, we may need a good 6 regardless, but I just didn’t understand the logic of what was suggested in that tweet. If Ndombele is going, and we want to play a 433, then we definitely need to find us a decent 8 replacement for Ndombele, or it will be one step forward, three back.

Would be an upgrade to ndombele. Always fit. Lethal set pieces. Tremendous hard worker.

I think he's more a replacement for Winks/Sissoko

Ndombele is much better at buildup play as well press-resistance/breaking the opposition press via dribbling.

JWP is more of a long ball/cross/set piece player. His tackles won are also super high, nearly as high as Hojbjerg.

If we stick with a 4-3-3 then Lo Celso, Ndombele, Skipp, Hojbjerg, JWP, Dele is pretty excellent midfield depth in all 3 positions and gives Nuno a great deal of flexibility to manage minutes across four comps.

I wouldn't get too pre-occupied with the tenuous in/out link-job of some IT drivvel. If some faux-journo twat doesn't know the difference betwween a #6 and a #8 that doesn't mean the club don't.

I'm still not sure Skipp is a #6...... Just looks like young Winks to me and look what we did to him forcing him into that role.

I think if Winks and/or Sissoko leave and we end up with that Portuguese lad we're far better balanced.

#8 - Gio / Ndombele / Dele / PEH / Skipp
#6 - Palhinha / (PEH / Skipp)

Main thing that concerns me is if he's good enough.

Vardy isn’t keen on us either or was it his bint that had a go? Mahrez didn‘t hold back either during the league run in.

Supporting Southampton must be fucking awful - you're just not allowed to have a decent player

Forster

Clyne Alderweireld VVD Shaw

Lallana Wanyama Hojbjerg/Schniderlin

Bale Ings Mane

bench: Lovren, Lambert, Chambers, Walcott, Alex OC

Coach - Poch/Koeman

Fucking hell.
