After all this it is gonna be Milenkovic then... could have signed him 2 months ago.
Also he's hardly the 'experienced leader' Ali Gold and co said we were after is he?
For what it's worth there's nothing whatsoever in the Spanish sports press, other than he's off on holiday till early September

Seems we're going for 2nd rate insteadTBF, neither are Kounde, Lacroix, Lopez, Romero or anyone else that peeps got excited over.
If we're not gonna buy a super-duper 2nd CB then I'd rather we save our money and given Rodon a fair crack.
Spot on. We must have spoken to him prior to making a bid and he turned us down, so I very much doubt we then went ahead and made such a massive bid for the sake of it.That's got to be bollocks?
Why would we waste time and effort agreeing a price if he doesn't want to come?
Surely a two minute call to his agent would determine that?
Opinions like arseholes yadda yadda
Some stink more than others.
most definately, SC is the worst for it, i had to shower for 4 weeks 3 times a day
Yes, I think the problem has been in properly establishing the ceiling for their potential. Im sure you remember talks of turds and degrees of polish. But I've always been well aware of the pitfalls and difficulty of translating youthful potential to successful career.
Good because there has been few that have been worth it. And why persevere when there's another just like him rolling off the line. The head of our academy must be Lee Iacocca. There have actually been very few Spurs academy players I've actually thought even worth persevering with let alone "future WC player".
No one disputes this. The problem goes back to the player's ceiling/potential. If your initial projection is off (inflated) then you'll be expecting more than is reasonable. Most players just hone what they already have. If that"s not much to begin with then let's acknowledge that and put our faith in the next k-car off the line. And I have always believed playing football is better for their development - once they've hit physical and developmental maturity -
Yeah, defo see him taking a year to get comfy. Suprised at our haste on this one. Maybe we thought we had to get Lamela out in the small window of health opportunity we had lest he stay another year or two. I'll chalk that up as one of Mou's successes. So often players need at least a season to adapt to new shit.....coach/style, team-mates, league, country, language, lifestyle etc. Sometimes they just don't fit, doesn't always make them bad. And sometimes they are fucking bad but, irritatingly, fit in really fucking well and become dressing room fucking influencers, the fucking cunts.
You'd have thought they would have realised having family involved doesnt always make sense.eh?...
Do you think he got his Dad involved coz he felt he was being picked on?...
def but we know its coming, the whole we tried angle and then signing crap, it happens all the timeSerious question here. If we sell Harry Kane at the end of the window and we scramble around for a replacement and sign Braithwaite in a last minute attempt, how would you all feel ? Would this put you over the edge with this lot in charge ?
