- Deal looks close.
- Odd ownership scenario where Betis and Barca co-owned the player and Barca only bought him outright this summer. This means that (like Romero/Atalanta/Juve) Barca will have to do a loan/obligation deal to shift him on this summer.
- He's one of the players that they can't afford to register this summer.
- They are interested in Serge as a make-weight.

Definitely think we still need an attacking right back as another option to Tanganga and I also definitely see why we want Adama Traore as well.
If that’s true and that is the fee we should snap their hands off IMO.
We don't need another energetic box-to-box mid. Need someone who can pull the strings, beat players and create chances/score. Would be a waste of a midfield spot
