Btw does anyone have the distance covered stats from last season or in the games he played 90 minutes? Going by what’s being said in this thread, you’d expect Ndombele to be at the bottom of that, so I’m wondering if stats back up or people are exaggerating as usual.

Neeeh, still has 4 years left. Based on current evidence, he is not thinking in long-term perspective. So he can easily slouch around for 2 more years, collecting tens of millions on the way. As a matter of interest how many times did this waster manage to stay on the pitch for 90 minutes?
Not sure, I think 6 out of 28 starts, but he’s clocked 2108 minutes which was our 2nd best between midfielders (behind Hojbjerg).
Centre midfielders are usually expected to cover the most distance, nearly every fucking game tbf.
Plus if he was covering more ground and running faster than others, it makes sense for the manager to sub him and put fresh legs on.
Yeah but the question is whether he’s lagging by a lot behind the other Tottenham/Premier League midfielders or not.
