I think the Traore deal is dead. We aren't spending £40m plus on him, and neither should we.

Emerson will be in, and I hope another midfielder as we are lacking in that area I think. One of Aouar or Neves would do nicely.

We missed an absolute bullet with Dybala, considering how he turned out.

Would have been a perfect replacement for Eriksen. Not sure what you mean by "how he turned out"
He was almost certainly pushed to one side at Juve by Ronaldo. I actually think it was tragic a young player like Dybala possibly had his career slowed off because of a 32 year old Ronaldo who was always gonna be short term

Until we bring a proper decent striker in no transfer window will ever be a satisfactory one. Son is not an out and out striker. It's a long season in which kane usually sustains a significant injury and expecting to get through the season every year with one fit striker is farcical to me.

no thanks on Neves. Would rather we spend that money on Adama.
I’m at the complete opposite to this, Wolves dominated us not because of Trarore but as a result of what Neves did, he pressed, harassed, tackled and wine the ball back like no other player on the pitch, also adding a huge creative output too.

I don’t necessarily believe any of the links but this is the signing that should provide the biggest impact on how we could play and most importantly compete against better oppo midfields.

Ronaldo was signed to win CL for Juve. Never got past quarters. Last 16 last two years.
Bale got 11 pl goals for us. No doubt Ronaldo will score goals but they can do that already. It’s midfield they are lacking.
Italy is a home for r old footballers ..prem lge is definitely not

Dead right our midfield is not that good. Think we are going to be three at the back with this new lad coming in. Proper wing back by all accounts.

I think that IF we were to sign a MF (not having any hopes knowing how ENIC work + I've been let down so many years), it would be much more likely that we sign Aouar than Neves. Cheaper, is looking to leave, and Hitchen gets his fetish sorted by signing another player from Ligue 1 (Matar Sarr is on loan so not including him).
