We've done ok-ish, dropped the age of the squad. Got some hopefully decent young players but have we given Kane a reason to stay beyond this season.....i think the answer is clearly, have we bollocks.

We still have too many average (and just plain bad) players we should have gone balls out to move on form the off.

His wages are as big an issue as anything else......
Sending him out for 30m or less AND subsidising a portion of his wages is a dent we presumable can't afford.
I can understand it, it's basically optimism in the face of having absolutely no power to do anything about it. Options are:
1. Walk. (Find another club and try to live with it).
2. Pitchforks. (You brought a pitchfork to a drone fight).
3. Optimism.
I choose 3. It's not hard choice for me. We're better than we were 15 years ago, more fans, more money and still competing with the top teams. Jose sucked, so will this season, but I don't think we're on a downward trajectory.
think it's going to be another normal window TBF, some say "smart business", others say "not enough"... just becomes average in the end for me. Neither super excited or massively disappointed. #spursy
