It's not a lack of effort. He's just not as good as people think he is. He is a luxury player and flat track bully and scores in bunches against inferior opponents. Look at how good he looked against Pacos. This is why we were only offered 75 million for him. If he were truly world class, we'd have been offered 100 million + and a deal would have happened.

We are better reinvesting the proceeds from selling him into bettering our MF/Defense. He's only going to get worse as he ages.

Kane is the best striker in the world along with Lewandowski/Benzema and couple of gmaes at the start of the season will not change that.

Maybe he's not being himself because the team haven't CREATING ANYTHING for him. We are last in everything about attacking stats.

Can see the atmosphere between the fans and him getting toxic pretty quickly. It’s just so obviously awkward with him around. He wants to be on a par with Messi and Ronaldo. He needs to take a game by the scruff of its neck and show some leadership and responsibility on the pitch. As good as he is - and he is one of the top European strikers - I really wish we’d sold him and moved on. Build a team around Son, Gily and others. Create a wholly new core. Love H but he’s mentally gone.
 
I think we're basically reliant on Gareth Southgate dropping him for England due to his form for Spurs, that might give him the motivation to actually start playing like he's not downed three bottles of white lightning.

It's a harrowing state of affairs when you're relying on Gareth Southgate to grow a pair though.

Total utter nonsense.

I was in favour of selling him in the summer just because the time had come that we had to part ways. He has been at Spurs since aged 11, is now 28 and he wants CL football and wants to win trophies so staying at Spurs made no sense. With the money we could have reinvested in the team and made a new start. However our wanker chairman thought otherwise and we are where we are now.

Noone with Kane's goals record and history of no dressing issues can be labelled as someone who has a terrible attitude and is grossly overrated.
 
should of cashed in and invested. if he hasnt actually downed tools then hes dropped some serious levels. his intensity isnt there and to be honest hasnt been for a while, hes lost the grit to really win a game. the only time he showed a real bit of grit today was when he lost the ball and they scored, he actually came running back to rectify his fuckup...he used to have that grit for 90 mins not just when hes made a massive fuck up.

loses nearly every 50-50 dual hes in now, then when he does get the ball like a lot of this team is guilty of, wants to try to much and wants to do the glamour ball.
