Levy thinks short term for football not long term, that is how he has always acted. He thinks long term on the infrastructure.

Levy reminds me of my old landlady, she wasn’t awful but would hire the cheapest builder possible then when they fucked up have to spend a load more fixing their fuck up with a expensive builder when she could have saved money by getting the good builder at the start.

Levy goes mostly cheap then in the long run loses more money via lack of CL qualification or having to replace a cheap player with a player we should have gotten from the beginning, in this case it’s the manager not the player though. Penny wise pound foolish.
When he does come to sell Kane he will lose a lot of money because I can’t see anyone paying much above £50 million based on his current performances

Normally he would improve but his heart’s not in it and it’s clear for everyone to see so drop him and play someone, anyone, who actually gives a fuck because Kane doesn’t

He's had 6 games. If you want to direct your anger somewhere place it in the direction of fraud shit cunt players stealing a living and owners more interested in making money from boxing matches rather than putting trophies in the cabinet. Levy had the chance to sign conte but wasn't interested in stumping up for on field success. Joke club thanks to the owners. I'm ENIC out before nuno out that's for sure.
agree entirely

That’s a separate argument and I agree with you but the manager is clueless and the players aren’t playing for him

What would you do wait until Xmas when we’re low in the bottom half of the table in a relegation fight?

The Chavs identified a problem with Fat Frank and ruthlessly despatched him and getting Tuchel and now look

I appreciate that there doesn’t appear to be anyone in Tuchel class out there atm but several other names have been suggested

I can’t see any hope of improvement with Nuno in charge

What are you disagreeing with?

Do you think Kane’s heart is in it?

Is he worth much more than £50 million?

If so who us going to pay it?

Not selling Kane wasn't about money, it was about not caving into Man City and selling them any more of our players in the future unless it is on our terms. Anyway, he's a red herring in this, fans shouldn't focus their frustrations on him despite his behaviour in the summer. Our frustrations should be refocused on Levy, starting from Thursday.

Regarding Nuno, surely if we lose to Villa on Sunday he's gone? Has to be, if not, it will be yet another wasted season.

I feel bad for Nuno, as I think he is a decent guy, but as the season unfolds, it's becoming more apparent that he is hopelessly out of his depth.
It will be interesting to see when Levy pulls the plug, as it appears that it's only a matter of time.
However, the players have to take some of the responsibility for such half-hearted displays - there's no excuse for not giving everything in a NLD, no matter how the team is set up.

I feel sorry for him, seems like a nice guy but he's been hung out to dry here.

If Nuno does go, surely the board have to call for a vote of no confidence in Levy, or at least bring his recent stewardship of the club into question?

"I can’t see anyone paying much above £50 million"

That is massive hyperbole. Look at players who have been moving for 50 mil.
Daniel James was over 30 mil ffs.

If you ask who would pay over 50 mil, there would be MASSIVE list. For that amount Bayern, Dortmund, Leipzig in Germany alone. With 2 out of 3 might be out of striker. In Real, Benzema will not play forever. And Atletico has muscle + Suarez will not last forever. PSG will lose Mbappe. ManU will lose Cavani and looks to move on Martial...etcetc.

I can make a bet for 50£ that if he moves on within next 2 transfer windows, we will receive significantly more than 50 mil. That is just so massive overreaction that I cant even find a proper parallel. Let's not lose any slightest touch to reality.

As the directors don't have pesky shareholders to worry about, they would pull up the drawbridge, circle the wagons, cover their backs and indeed any other trite turn-of-phrase that gets milked to death in such circumstances in order to keep the good thang they got going

if the manager goes what about the DoF who said he was the man ?
Levy has a big probelm here the 2 guys he appoints/says yes too have prove not up to it

I've slept on it and I can't see any future with this guy. Looking doomed to fail already. Poor, cheap appointment in the first place.

We're playing awful football, aren't even solid defensively, and his tactics and selections are all over the place. It's a matter of time.

I echo Mrs Perryman Mrs Perryman and swinbag swinbag sentiments. Nuno seems like a good person and I feel sorry for him to an extent, but unfortunately he just doesn’t seem cut out for the job and his style of football isn’t appealing - ‘attacking, free flowing DNA?’. All the concerns people had before his appointment are beginning to come to the surface.

It’s worrying to watch him stood on the touch line 3-0 down looking utterly emotionless. It’s like he doesn’t know how to change a game for the better.

He played a flat 3, central midfield covered the sweeper, the two either side dropped in to WB as the wing backs pushed on, so there was no play between lines (as lines are inexistent) and the midfielders sole purpose for existing was to restrict space for the opposition.

I guess you are not surprised we are playing shit football then? Has your new manager made you play better?

But not with Kane’s current attitude, form and injury record

If Manc did offer £75 million with add ons we should have taken their arm off
