I've made up my mind regarding Nuno and he's got to go. Seeing that first half again and really analyzing it, it was a fucking disgrace. Hit tactic was to empty out the midfield and just punt it long - shocking.

Combine that with his shite team selections, substitutions, dull, uninspiring personality, and insistence on playing this poxy 4-3-3 when it's fucking obvious we need to be 4-2-3-1 with Skipp and PEH in there. Bloody last-minute, panic, cheap appointment no longer wanted by Wolves. Get rid.

Ah, I'm just so fucking sick of everything with this club right now. And I've got the joy of going to Villa on Sun. Despair.
The midfield were not showing enough and the two that have been spoken about the most were the worst for it, lazy safe passes, not creating options, not pressing enough, not tracking runners etc.

If there's no decent balls on and the midfield don't look interested in getting on it, the centre halves have little other option than to go long.

The lack of work ethic off the ball is an absolute disgrace and when Skipp came on it showed exactly what we were missing.

Our results in the last few games are not down to Kane being back. He's been rubbish but there's no way the rest of the squad hates him so much that they've forgotten how to play football. Having a striker dropping deep and being lazy doesn't destroy your team balance to this extent either.

We were very bad for the first few games too. We played well vs City but it was a game played entirely on the break. We didn't create much. Wolves should've battered us but couldn't hit the target, and Watford was depressingly bad but their keeper fumbled it. We even lost a game to some Portuguese farmers (yeah it was a mixed/young team, but jesus).

All that happened is (like under Jose the season before) our luck caught up with us. It was blatant to anyone watching us what would happen when our gameplan was 'score the one chance we get, hope the opposition miss theirs'.

The whole squad needs tearing up. Personally I don't want the revolution to be in Nuno's image but each to their own.

I agree with much of that. But it was clearly a tactic of Nuno's for the likes of Dele and Ndombele to bomb forward and for the defence to hoof it up to them. Shocking tactic which exposed us horribly on the inevitable transition. Not helped by the fact that the 3 midfielders were just plodding around. Skipp should have started which again is a managerial fuck up. Nuno has a lot to answer for yesterday, as do the players. What a fucking shitshow. More annoyed now than yesterday.

You know what, I'd take him in the interim. We'd get back to playing some football, he'd set us up right, and would try to get the most out of Kane & Son. Right now, we're fucking dire to watch and aren't even defensively solid.
My one worry with Howe is that I don't think that he will get Kane on side.

Kane wants out. That much is clear. To get something out of him we need someone with more pedigree than Howe. The two free names that would fit is Valverde or Conte. And the fans would not be 100% happy with either.

Howe would be great if we went full youth movement.

It's funny how fans are using their agenda's against various individual players for this.
This is not on any one player. This is a squad that's well past its best. End of. Paratici didn't fix it. Nuno didn't fix it.
We've spent most of this season sending out the same old shit that let us down last season and the season before.

Nuno's setup was awful but I'm prepared to believe him with his suggestions that more than one player just did not follow whatever gameplan he had. We have so many players at this club that are either not good enough, or have terrible attitudes.

A couple managers have talked about this now. And Lloris not that long ago was coming in to an interview suggesting the same thing. Levy needs to give the next manager (or Nuno, if he genuinely believes he's the man .. which I don't buy for a second) total power to remove the bad apples, even if that means flogging them for a cut price, chucking them on loan or demotion to the youth teams.

True. Howe is hardly the stuff of legend. I'm just at the point where I just want beardy gone as I can see it's never going to work even with only 10 games in. Lose to Villa or even another poor display and the pressure on him is going to be huge. Dead man walking for me.

If we lose against Villa and he is 100% gone. This is a do or die week for him.

Howe would probably have us playing fun football. But I do fear that if Kane is not enthused by him he will still underperform and that will spread in the ranks since Harry is supposed to be the standard setter.

If Harry were to leave in January we could most likely weather the storm and then go balls to the wall under Eddie.

Fuck that, sack him ASAP, assess who's available and give it to the best of the bunch, assuming we aren't about to buy out someone currently in a job.

We're 6 games into the season, writing the campaign off at this stage would be absurd even for Levy!

Like we do with literally everything, we make finding a manager look like the biggest uphill struggle known to man, it's really not as difficult as Levy makes it seem, other clubs manage it all the time, and when all you're trying to do is upgrade on Nono then it's even easier...
Sack him now? And get who? Do you remember how long it took to get a new manager and the lots of rejections from other prospective managers? No sane or credible club sacks its manager after only 7-10 games!!!!

We don't need to get Kane on side. We need to get rid before he become the next Berahinho - wrthless and on the scrapheap.

He may be sulking. Or alternatively, he may not be in control of his actions. People underestimate the effect of discontent and disappointment there.

When it’s as bad as this, then there’s no other choice. He was only a short term caretaker coach anyway

I think if we committed to moving for him and agreed compensation with Brighton, he would come, but our bunch of jokers in charge can't agree on one target so we would no doubt end up going with whichever no hoper Mendes had looking for a job anyway.

I think as fans it's easy for us to get bogged down in the doom and despair, whereas to an objective observer we are a much more desirable prospect than Brighton, and Potter would probably relish the task of righting the ship.

But we won't pony up the cash for Brighton anyway.
Delusional. No way Potter would want to come to Spurs. Hes working well with a good CEO. Why leave that and come and work for a stingy difficult person like Levy. Its not always about money. With his success at Brighton, there are so many other better well run big clubs in Europe he can go to. Not Spurs.

I did allude to us making a relatively straight forward task seem almost insurmountable, the reality is that it shouldn't be all that difficult to achieve, if the people in charge have a modicum of competence between them.

And when the incumbent manager is as dire as Nono, the ONLY sane and credible thing to do is cut ties as early as possible. Fact is he should never have even been considered in the first place, Palace and Everton took a look and then avoided like the plague ffs.

If you've made a gigantic cock up the last thing you should do is double down and stick with it just for the sake of it.
