Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Listen to yourself man you're defending these decisions indirectly. What is your end point here? That we have bought players we needed, we spent some money so it shows we've got ambition? I really don't understand what you're defending.

It's really not that complicated.... If you'd simply said "we've bought a load of duds", we wouldn't even be having this discussion; as I'd agree..... (The deeper take is already in my previous posts.)

I'm not "implying" that we just shrug our shoulders at all........ Maybe revisit the opening para of your first post if you're still not getting the gist..... You distinctly suggested there was no intent to overhaul the squad in terms of ins or outs.

- From that summer onwards we have had 16 (17?) new players signed + 3 loans.
- Eriksen, Tripper, Lamela, Rose, Aurier, Sissoko, Toby, Jan, Wanyama(*); gone...

(*Probably forgotten some but you get the gist.)

Hi everyone, new here!
Just wondered what everyone thought about Kane turning our season around since committing to us and turning down City because he wants to be here!

I love having a world class striker don’t you guys!?
Would not swap for Lukaku or Lewandoski no way!
COYS!!

:adeohshit:
Welcome back!

That’s not the way I remember it
The Dippers were shite that night and were there for the taking and playing a clearly unfit Kane on the night says a lot about Poch and our medical team

Yes we were unlucky for the penalty but we had nearly 90 mins to rectify it

If I was Lucas I would have demanded a transfer that Summer and Levy should have sacked Poch there and then but no he dithered and we got Jose and now Nuno

What fucking next?

The Champo?

We'll have to agree to disagree. I think our early pen meant Liverpool were happy to sit back on their lead, and we simply didn't have tools to unlock them.

And it would've been pretty spoiled of Lucas to expect to start. He was great against Ajax but it was one game, Kane was better throughout the season. I can only have faith that our medical team, as professionals, would only clear him if they genuinely thought he was fit.

Everyone is entitled to think that mistake cost us the game. I get it. But for me that final was always a step too far and we just lost to a better side, they didn't play well on the night but they had the tools and experience from the final the previous year to get past us. I honestly don't remember Lucas impacting the game much when he did come on, and that was as a sub against tired legs.

And sacking Poch there and then would've been a mistake. He got us top 4 in the league and in to a champions league final. No manager on earth would've wanted to come if we sacked managers for achieving that.

That would have been a dream scenario.

Imagine how much better we would be with this loser out of our club. Even if we didn't replace him the squad would be stronger.

Poch said he might resign anyway after the CL final so it would have been no surprise to anyone that he got sacked

Kane wasn’t fit to play in the final
Lucas was and on fire so we might have had a better chance of unlocking them although I’m convinced that ref was bought and paid for
No way was he going to let us win that
Several dodgy decisions apart from the ridiculous penalty!

But yes let’s agree to disagree

Went through it all last year mate, and posted so many times Kane’s goals to shots against the likes of Vardy and Calvert Lewin etc.
Last season in the PL it took Kane 55 more shots than Vardy to score 8 more goals than him.
Also played 300 more minutes.

If Vardy took 137 shots a season, he’d score more than Kane. I’m not sure how shooting 55 times more, but missing 47 of them makes you “clinical”

Son always said season after season that for him to get the ball to his feet and be able to shoot takes efforts from the entire 11 on the field and that he is so thankful for the shots and feels so bad whenever he would miss because it feels like he is letting the whole team down.

He couldn't be saying that interview after interview all for himself. He was sayinging to someone for the team.. to an ungrateful selfish someone who was taking things for granted?

We have a very different idea of what overhaul is, let's just leave it at that.

Drip selling players ove 4 years (8 transfer windows) isn't shifting deadwood or overhauling a squad.

We clearly have a different idea of what a number of words mean.

Summer 19/20 until now isn't 4 years..... We are just embarking on the 3rd season = It's 5 transfer windows.

......If your point was as solid as you think it is, you wouldn't need to bullshit your way out of this corner or move the goalposts (delete as applicable),

Mate - you’re talking to a paid ENIC employee

Also note how he’s placed all the blame for this current mess on alleged poor recruitment by Poch and none on his employer Levy
