Rafa top manager?
Step up from Everton?
Offer Europe?
Rafa is the last manager we need. He wouldn't leave Everton for us after a few games. You honestly think the lure of the conference league will make him come running?
You crazy
people think conference league will make Valverde, Conte or Poch come running?
the real lure is we still have son and kane and a proven good manager like Rafa will get the best out of them with more energy to the play. hes not an arrogant ass like nuno or mour and knows to use tools like son and kane

he'd leave everton because they a mess with FFP and injuries leaving them with a bad squad. he'd jump ship, maybe not now but by the summer for sure.

The desperation is at fever pitch in here. So much shit needs attending to. A new coach, what to do with Harry, Levy pulling all the strings but will never be the Abromovich or the clan running city, etc. In today’s game you need to spend to get somewhere. Unfortunately Levy and ENIC make that a reality for us. Club needs to be sold to a true footy fan billionaire.

Let's say Nuno is fired but Paratici is retained. Where are you then? Wouldn't Paratici just go out looking for another manager who shared his football philosophy of the Italian school with its emphasis on defense? What baffles me is why Levy acknowledged the need to return to the Spurs "DNA" and then hired someone whose background and ideas about football preclude doing that. I have yet to hear a logical explanation of why Paratici was thought to be the right person for the job.
It shows how out of touch levy is with the club he hires a DOF who is on a different page to him nobody is in alignment.

I see fans want Potter now.

Honestly we are just fickle numpties.

If we did approach him in the summer and he did reject us then it says everything about how unattractive we have become.

If not it was clearly a mistake. Another one.

It's not about "wanting Potter now"
It's about previous aspiring to higher rated/established coaches, then watching the shit show at Spurs go out and hire some pleb SO far below him that he is now actually looking a better option. I don't believe we ever went for him with any intent either.

Nuno will probably solidify the team a bit, scrap away to a 6-8th place finish and be replaced in the summer. Valverde would be my pick to replace him now.

No chance on earth is he here with the Christmas decs go up. I'd like him gone before the pumpkins come out. Or this weekend.

Rafa a top manager and would take step up from everton and we can offer europe this season
but no matter who we get in their stuck with a bad unbalanced squad so hard to expect any miracles if nuno is replaced

You. You. You realise the guys only been at Everton 5 minutes? Forget whether he's any good or not (in his 60s now and still people aren't sure about him)
He's literally just joined Everon and had a decent start. There's more chance of his hair growing back than getting him out of Everton.

I think that it was AlabamaSpur AlabamaSpur who ran the Oliver Glasner campaign on here in the spring. Based on Frankfurt's form this season he may be able to restart that one soon.

I think that Paratici was brought in for his transfer connections more than anything else. He seems to have done some smart deals for young players, I think from that side he's fine.

100% agree on the football philosophy, but it's hard to know what's true on that. His initial choices of manager were Fonseca and Gattuso who do not play defensive football. Only when he fucked those up did he turn to Nuno out of desperation due to pre-season being days away from starting.

Fonseca seems to have said, from his own mouth, Paratici didn't want an attacking coach and that's why Spurs moved on from him.

Currently unemplyed football coaches worth looking at to replace Nuno

Valverde
Favre
Doris the tea lady
Gazza, a curry and a fishing rod

Maybe if we’d invested in the squad during the 500 plus day self inflicted transfer ban , we’d not need a total upheaval of the squad costing us millions

Shortsightedness strikes again.
