Haaland would score 30+ for us easily. Its easier to play a pass for someone who is fast as you dont have to play the pass too close to the opposite defender who can defend it easily.
Plenty. But my point is, put better players around him and Kane will score goal after goal. As he's done year after year already for what's been a pretty ordinary side at times excluding a few years under Pochettino.
To be fair he woudl improve Mancitys goalscoring their attackers are a terrible at finishing.
He scores a lot of goals because he gets a lot of chances. His shot conversion rate and goals above xG is bang average from what I've seen. According to Sammy it's below average.
Haaland is an elite player. But you might as well have said Yoda it's that unrealistic.
Yes but my point is any decent striker would improve their finishing. Could list a half dozen strikers in the PL that would score 20-30 goals on that Man City side.

I'm not suggesting it was a foregone conclusion, I'm saying they were big favourites for the match, and my personal opinion is we didn't lose it due to the decision to start Harry Kane. Sissoko deciding to put us a goal down against the best defence in the Premier League that season was far more pivotal.
Of course we had a chance to win the game. But we were always up against it, and a lot of players on the day performed badly, including Lucas when he came on unless I'm remembering incorrectly. I just don't like putting it down to us starting Kane.
But again, if other fans really feel that was the pivotal decision then that's fair.

Read the post again. You critiqued Son signing a long term contract with the Spurs by making up a scenario where he wasn't getting any interest from any other team so he signed with Spurs. But in fact you have no idea of what went on behind closed doors, what interest he did or didnt get, what Son does or doesnt want.
So you're saying it's a given that he would score against the better teams all the time? Obviously you would say that, as it suits your argument. I've already seen him play better sides for Dortmund in the Champions League and do next to nothing for sucks sake. Like Kane, he fills his boots when he's playing the likes of Schalke and Union tossing Berlin.
He'd score more than Kane. He is a younger faster and better striker now.
But he would still score far less in this Tottenham side against better sides than he would against the same teams Kane scores most of his goal against. He's already showed that to an extent with Dortmund.
