Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

A distinction without a difference. So we will be a more smelly turd then? Still shit though. At least we have the prospect of getting better to hang our hats on if we sell him. Otherwise we do what many have done before and that is to try and satisfy the ambitions of an aging superstar. we need to be like Edmonton, a real hockey team and not like Calgary...a shit one. :dembelefingers::sonpoint:

Now that is a comment worthy of a ban right there!

I am not sure with Levy and Paratici we have the prospect of getting better.

you don't? Then why so worried about being shit if we sold him? Does 7th or 15th really mean that much to you? We are already pushing to be last in London. Brentford is above us FFS.

Because I would rather be 7th for as long as we can before our likely long period of 15th. I don't know maybe I am crazy but I like doing better than worse even if its isn't the best.

Not looking for guarantees at all. Nothing is guaranteed. But looking for hope and that and Kane are inconsistent. All we did was kick the can down the road, ensure a shit season with 1 striker, lower his market value, and set us up for another managerial change.

I see more hope with Kane than Bergwijn-Son-Moura and whatever crap Paratici wastes the money on.

But that's just delaying the inevitable, innit? I'd say this is a mid-table attitude, to keep being middling because it's better than those lower than you in the table. But from where do the prospects of getting better come? If Kane's season continues as it has this will be a particularly sticky problem for you.

Is it a slow and mostly static hope?

They can't get Lewa in Jan, and he'll be 34 next summer.
No way do City hierarchy give that the green light, especially as Bayern are rumoured to want 100M plus.
Yeah agreed no way they are paying 100m for him at thst age and with 18 months on his contract unless they want to do him a favor and let him leave on the cheap for his service.
on a similar note slim chance they green light 120m plus on Kane, as much as we can hope its true they were not willing to pay it in the summer so why would they now. 120m on a player who is getting less and less mobile and is showing a rather piss poor professional attitude it has to be said

They were willing to pay £130M in the summer according to Romano.
Their opening bid was £100M.

He is elite, but a very defensive manager. Football would be boring and I’m not sure it would suit our squad.
Hmm not Thst he would ever consider spurs given what levy would give him, what exactly would our current squad be suited too? They are utter garbage outside of son hjoberg Bergjwin, maybe Romero if he ever ever get a game and a scant few others. Point being who does suit our current piss poor squad
