Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Kane takes 137 shots to score 23 goals.
Someone else may create 40 TEAM goals by passing some of the 114 chances Kane misses a season instead of just trying to break personal records

Imagine that
Not in our squad they won't. Son is a greedy fuck who will smash it at the legs of a defender rather than pass more often than people admit. Moura just runs into the crowd. Bergwjin shoots and misses. Dele is done. Etc. Etc. Etc.

And Salah took 126 to score 22. With two more penalty goals than Kane.

Kane takes a lot of low % shots - from the edge of the area, from tight angles etc. He takes on the responsibility of shooting more than our other players do because he has more confidence in his ability to strike a ball.

And the idea that all the shots Kane misses are chances is very silly. Who are these other prolific players in our team you think he'd be better off passing it to?
We don't have other prolific players because we let Kane take all the shots and waste

Don't need to take bad example to justify being mediocre. All the denying facing the truth is only atvthe expense of the club

The first bit is just obviously rubbish. Anyone who thinks if Kane takes less shots the likes of Bergwijn or Moura are gonna become prolific is living in a total fantasy world.

And I honestly just can't understand what the second sentence actually means.

Kane actually could have been the best player ever acheiving 20 goals 20 assits for many seasons winning the mates and Club several titles had he been more selective less greedy about taking shots.

But now that's like in another parallel universe

The three players who took the most shots last season in the league were Kane, Salah and Fernandes. Shock horror as the three star men at three clubs took on the bulk of the responsibility and attempted to force the issue. Nobody is claiming the latter two are wasting their teams chances or greedy.

Kane was also only 9th on the 'big chances missed' table. Only 3 more than Son all season. So the idea he's just throwing away chances game after game is also obviously just not true. And as the teams main CF you'd expect him to have more opportunities squandered than others, he's in those situations more often.

Claiming Kane is immediately selfish and wasting opportunities because he has a lot of shots is just a blatant misuse of a statistic. There are genuine holes in his game you can criticise without resorting to this kind of stuff.

Forget the second sentence. It started with your bad exampling anyway.

Just focus on the obvious rubbish

You're very obviously just a fan of a particular player and allowing that to cloud your judgement on everything else, so I'll leave it there.
Not really but I leave it there because I really have not seen you before and has no time to find out any more than what you said on this page or two.

But listening that my judgment is clouded here could be like a blind is telling me where my glasses are

Salah isn’t world class either so what

Low % shots instead of passing.
It’s not taking on responsibility to shoot from an angle that likely won’t go in, it’s taking responsibility if you look up and pass to your TEAM mate

Kane was one of my most favorite players but I am really disappointed with his attitude and play from the pre-season up to now. I see no energy, no passion, no will from him. Where are they now?

Jesus, your definition of world class must be incredibly harsh.

And passing to your teammate isn't a superior option if your teammates are some of the absolute duds Kane plays with.

Exactly. The numpties here are talking like he's not had slow/poor starts to the season before. He's had plenty for fucks sake. But world-class players always come good sooner rather than later, and is why Kane has always scored 20-30 goals every season, no matter how average we are. It's just unfortunate for us we don't have players that will create for him game after game, like most other top strikers do, so he can score even more than he's always done and will do again no doubt.
The numpties on here are those who talk about 30 goals when 10 are against Maccabi Haifa and Club Brugge etc, 16 or so against the bottom half, and two against a top 4 club

My definition of world class is Zidane, Van Nistleroy, both Ronaldo’s, Maldini, Carlos, Bergkamp, Henry, Thuram, Ginola…..put Salah there if you want, maybe you wasn’t around when real talent was in abundance.

People can talk about Grealish if they want, just shows today’s levels, when the two best players on the planet are about 70 combined years old
