That's why the goonies here were very quiet last season. Now that Kane has upset people and he's having his usual slow start to the season, he's an easy target.
Kane was Levys front man for the low salary system in return had all backing of Levy and fans clarmoring efficient Club operation. Pride and future profit. Let the boy one of own abuse the privilege for his golden boot runs season after season.
Long story short
Didn't work out and became problem when Kane brothers thought they had gentlemens agreement because Levy is acutually gentlemen agreements WTF. Quickly loosing fans too in the face of diminishing value and dawning of fact that boy never delivered nor was the value and pride.
It's not a million miles off all the West Ham fans claiming that Antonio is suddenly a better striker now just because he's the first guy to score 50 goals for them in decades... Completely ignoring the comparative goal involvement output between the two over the last 7/8 years and the fact that Antonio is even more of an injury liability.
I said during the summer I'd have happily embraced a fresh start and, yes Kane's fuckery since the run-in of last season pissed me off; but much of the rhetoric atm is laughable.

And a player scoring 20-30 goals a season definitely holds the team back.
He’s been shit in lots of games down the years, and even scored in some of those games.
He’s not a shit player per se, on his day he’s world class…..been here before haven’t we?
Difference is he was in his day for about 25 games a season a few years ago, now, despite scoring, he genuinely looks world class about once or twice a year. And that’s not even full performances, just moments in games.
If people are blinded because he can turn up against LASK, or play nice passes sometimes good for them
I don’t expect Dier to lead us to trophies.
That’s why I pick out Kane
Yes, our problem definitely isn't players who contribute 2-3 goals a season, or defenders like Dier & Sanchez, it's one of the only two players we have that any club would be prepared to pay decent money for. He's the issue.
When we get rid of our 30 goals a season striker all will be good in the world and Bergwijn & Lucas will finally release their Kane shaped shackles and bang in 15 each in the league. Free flowing football at the Lane once more.

Kane takes a lot of low % shots - from the edge of the area, from tight angles etc. He takes on the responsibility of shooting more than our other players do because he has more confidence in his ability to strike a ball.
And the idea that all the shots Kane misses are chances is very silly. Who are these other prolific players in our team you think he'd be better off passing it to?
