LMFAO we're truly a joke club now

I want him out but I can see rational reasons for wanting him to stay.

Firstly, it could reflect badly on us as a club if we get rid this early. Other managers may be reluctant to come if they see we're willing to pull the trigger so mercilessly, especially when its clear how many issues the squad has.

Secondly, there really are no realistic alternatives if we do sack him. The only top manager available is Conte and we all know he's not coming here. If he's sacked its back to an interim (probably Mason) and we're back where we started.

Lastly, sacking him just covers up the real issues at the club, which is the squad of players we have available and Levy letting down managers time and time again. It's just another plaster over the gaping wound.

Again though, I do want him gone. Mainly just for anyone who at least tries to play some form of football that isn't so utterly miserable that I have to force myself to watch the team I love. Even if we aren't successful it would be nice to not actively hate our games.

Koeman's PL rep basically tanked with his Everton run. I don't think the Spurs fans would take to him despite his brand of football being perfectly okay.

He's not a bad manager. His stints at Feyenoord, Southampton and the Dutch national team shows that he knows what he is doing. And his Barca stint has been as good as can be expected in all that chaos.

But I don't see Tottenham fans taking to him and his rather abrasive personality would not work.
He was a fool to join Barcelona when he did.

He was onto something big with the Dutch team, I genuinely think he could have won the Euros with them had he stayed. They were flying under him.

He’s had too many poor stints at clubs in his career for us to consider him, IMO.

When Nuno inevitably goes, Koeman wouldn't be a bad move at all on a years contract. Give him the season and see if he can steady the ship, it's a better interim option than Mason. Whether he'd actually want that is another thing, because there's no way we should be appointing him longer term.
another coach on a years contract says to the players they will be here when he isn't. It's part of the reason we now find ourselves in this shit state.

Well, silver lining: it's shaping up that if a Tuchel-style manager becomes available through being sacked, we'll likely be poised to snap them up.

We got fucked last season by Mourinho having us be too consistent to get sacked around Christmas while Chelsea binned Lampard and made a masterstroke. Doesn't look like we'll be too good to change manager any time soon.

I don't buy this.
We just need to make more effort.

Managers aren't queuing up to work with Levy and a strange squad with only a few quality players + one built by multiple managers that doesn't really fit any particular style. It's a tough job. Managers out of work might take it, but those in comfortable jobs or thriving might be hard to convince.

And let's face it, we're not going to make that effort because it would require committing transfer funds + power to a new manager.

Nuno needs to go, but the players that need to fuck off with him are as follows …

Davies
Doherty
Dier
Sanchez
Winks
Ndombele
GIO
Bergwijn
Dele Ali

All these useless bastards are a huge problem at this club. They haven’t performed consistently in a Spurs shirt, certainly not in the last few years, yet are still playing regularly. All need to fuck off.
