Not a problem with how he made his dough then...whatabout where he squirrels it away from the taxman?
Are you equating that to stoning rape victims to death for adultery?

So can he do anything short of that then? Are you equating that to stoning rape victims to death for adultery?
So legally avoiding tax is the same as rape and murder - hope you've never paid cash for anything, how guilty must you feel when you equate that with rape and murder? Not a problem with how he made his dough then...whatabout where he squirrels it away from the taxman?

Lot of scope there...
Yeah, just ignore the bit where I said he's nowhere near as bad as that lot...So legally avoiding tax is the same as rape and murder - hope you've never paid cash for anything, how guilty must you feel when you equate that with rape and murder?
Hang on, you're the one telling us to ignore his misdeeds because he's not as bad as the Saudis...
Justify what? that our major shareholder lives in a low tax country? Is that now the same as condoning rape and murder.

Point of order re Florentino Pérez, he doesn't own Real Madrid, he's the chairman, elected by the club's members who are the "owners", as is the case at Barcelona, Athletic Club and Osasuna.Abramovich is a no.
Basically I stop at anyone there is a very high reason to suspect involvement in significant, and violent or otherwise beyond the pale, criminal conduct. Or someone whose business practices are eroding western civilization.
I'd take Kroenke, FWIW. Or FSG. Or the Glazers. Or that bloke that owns Leicester. Hell, I'd take Perez if Madrid ever bounced him and he was looking for a team with a white shirt so he'd feel at home - he'd bankrupt us, but it'd be sensational at least. I'd probably even take the Dildo Bros without a lot of rage, though they'd ruin us I'm sure.
Spent a lot of my life with common crooks and hoods, TBH. I'm comfortable with that variety, morally. The Qataris, Saudis, Abu Dhabi, Abramovich, etc. are cut from a different cloth if you ask me. These are evil people, not bad, evil.
Not saying that he's the devil incarnate...just saying he's no saint...Nope. I'm the one saying making money in the FX markets is not the same as atrocities perpetrated by the Saudi regime. You and others are the ones suggesting they are as bad as each other.

You say it's not the same, so just what false equivalency are you making here? Joe may not be much of a philanthropist but that's not a crime, what's with all the hate?
I love a heated debate me...Sooo then,
I see TFC is keeping busy during the international break.
Fucking Winks! I blame him!
I mean, there's "a bit shady", and "dodges taxes" (which as a hard working tax payer trying to pay off a London sized mortgage really annoys me) and then there's executing journalists and homosexuals but there are some people here arguing that it's all the same.
Of course, I can't help but be a little jealous that Newcastle are probably on the verge of domestic dominance and I freely admit as a Spurs fan I'd at least be a little excited about a new era of actually winning things if it were us. But that doesn't mean I can't feel a little about entire countries buying Premier League clubs as a PR exercise so we all laugh off the executions and persecutions. No. Just, no.
Fuck City, Fuck Chelsea and now Fuck Newcastle.
I will have absolutely no problem with it. It will kill Spurs' values and legacy in an instant. That club will not be Spurs anymore, other than by name.but if one of these types buys Spurs, will you stop following the club? I don't just mean going to games, but watching a stream, posting on a forum etc. That's the real test of where we all stand on this issue.
Yeah same kind of scenario few mates of mates Rangers fans and when they started under Souness they’d not had success for years finally won the league then the cups & leagues started with 9in a row Souness away by now but it was boring teams rocking up at Ibrox ten men behind the ball and just a grind. The older school Newcastle fans will get bored in a few years. Lot of my mates were Chelsea and they loved the first 2 or 3 years but it just becomes meaningless. Most knocked it on the head or go to non league now. Of course you always get 1 or 2 gobshites that cling on and act like they've earnt all the success the hard way. The Newcastle fans that arent the new breed will still pine for the Keegan years even as they lift league titles because deep down they'll know its all hollow.
