Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Son being shit in the past has nothing to do with Kane being shit now. What’s hard to understand? They’re not related at all. Stop deflecting.

No deflecting at all.... It's funny you'd say this considering every damn post you make about Kane (you know; the literal HUNDREDS) most (if not all) contain stats and comments about Son in order to play HK down.... All of which ignores the elephant in the room; which is NEITHER is perfect; so stop pretending otherwise.

If you read properly; I've made no excuses for Kane.... And YOU'RE the one keeping Son ever present in this thread and repeatedly comparing the two.

Urging a balanced view of the pair of them doesn't make me (or anyone else) a Kane "fanboy"; you childish bore. At the same time; all this crap about being a flat-track, penalty merchant just makes you sound like all the moronic Liverpool fans who year after year called him a one season wonder.

Kane deserves all the criticism he’s getting for his terrible performances and his diva antics since the Neville interview

Sure; but Son didn't magically become better - nor flawlessly consistent - as a result of Kane wanting a move.

Fortunately for us - like I already pointed out - Kane & Son's have more often than not been 'covered' by the other...... Again more points you keenly ignore because it doesn't support your tiresome fucking hate-boner.

. The fanboys need to stop deflecting away from Kane’s shitty performances and dragging Son into it. How many times have we heard the excuse from the likes of you and Airfixx Airfixx

I've been more than prepared to criticise him and have done on multiple occasions, you clown...... Thinking you talk a relentless, flood of shite on the subject doesn't directly equate to thinking Kane is beyond reproach.

The difference between Kane and Tanguy is that Tanguy does not start or does not play in 80% of our games. His performance on the pitch is in line with the amount of time he sits his ass on the bench. We deal with him accordingly. I am of the opinion that he still helps our team when he plays as we don’t have a creative MF. That’s just my opinion.

Compare that with Kane who is undroppable irrespective of how shit he is. He’s above the club and does what he wants, when he wants.

And Kane being shit has nothing to do with Son. The fanboys need to stop deflecting away from Kane’s shitty performances and dragging Son into it. How many times have we heard the excuse from the likes of you and Airfixx Airfixx

“….b…bu…but… Son has been Shit in the past too!!”

Why the fuck is that necessary and how is that relevant to Kane being shit now and him being an overrated tap in and penalty merchant that offers little outside of that?

He's not getting dropped right now because:

1) We have a kid as backup.

2) Kane has had poor starts before, but still scored more than anyone else for us season after season. Including Son.

3) If you play Son up front, which is an option, and drop Kane, then you're left with Moura, Bergwijn and Gil, who have about 10 goals between them in the last couple of years.

Lol piss off.

In your strange view of the world, there is no such thing as a Kane fanboy. Am I right?

You repeatedly make it a mission to belittle, abuse and criticize any fan that favors/supports a Spurs player.

Yet, I have never seen you call out a Kane fanboy - ever.

Which begs the question, why?

We have always been fine without Kane - we really don't need him to get results, even when he's on top of his game.

Without Kane, including preseason, we haven't lost a game this season out of 7. This includes wins against City, Woolwich, Wolves and a draw against Chelsea. Interpret that however you want but those are the facts.

I've never said he's been anything but crap this season in the Premier League. But he'll turn it around. He has done before and he will do again, even if he's not the player he once was you don't go from having the season he did only in the last campaign to being genuinely shit.

Im Out GIF

me every time i enter this thread

So do people want to keep Kane in the team and hope he gets back to form, as he has always done so far in his career? Or would they rather play Bergwijn, who, if he's on fire, might get 6 or 7 league goals if he starts every game from now on?

Anyone would think Kane has done a Dele - it was only last season he was top scorer in the league.

Nah, send him to the reserves and sell him for 50p in the summer, that's a great plan!

This thread is starting to remind me of that obscure SNL skit where members of the fan club for Mr Belvedere decide that they love him so much that therefore they must murder him.
Well why don’t you head off into the sunset to the Yank thread and chat with HB about flying lessons?

We’re talking football and Spurs

I think it's a tough one, and whatever decision Nuno makes will make sense.

On one hand, he's been poor nearly every time he's played this season. Really poor, to the detriment of the team. And he's also been poor whilst on England duty, so that's a lot of games to have offered little to nothing in. I agree we don't have the right alternatives, but the question is whether someone who has a proven record in the past but has been bad for a long period should have an automatic place.

I wouldn't advocate dropping him to the reserves or giving him no opportunities, but it would be deserved if he was dropped to the bench for a PL game or two in order to make the point that these displays aren't tolerated, and to give opportunities to other players. Kane disrespected the club badly in the summer, he doesn't have the unquestionable right to start if he is playing poorly.

The last time Harry was a sub he came on and scored a hat-trick. Might be worth sticking him on the bench again for the time being. He'll come good, but I can't say his England performance earlier this week didn't concern me a lot. But once one goes in, even if it's off his arse, I think you'll see a different player suddenly.

In your strange view of the world, there is no such thing as a Kane fanboy. Am I right?

No.

What's any of this got to do with my worldview anyway?

I put it to you once again. If I am a Kane fanboy why have I:

- Criticised his behaviour throughout the summer.
- Criticised the deterioration of his hold-up play.
- Got increasingly annoyed by the unnecessary margainalising of our back-up STs (as far back as Jansen).
- Said during the summer that I'd welcome the fresh start if a viable deal could be done.

???

You're blinkered - You only see what you want to see.

You repeatedly make it a mission to belittle, abuse and criticize any fan that favors/supports a Spurs player.

Baseless drivel. If anything most people here would accuse me of being the complete opposite of what you're describing.

I think a Kane fanboy to him/sammyspurs is basically anyone that thinks he's still a very good player, albeit one in a poor run for forum.
