The way I see it, we have two main approaches that we can take if we sack Nuno.

1: We go full youth movement and get Eddie Howe in (give him a 9 month contract with an option of a longer one if he gets Europe like someone suggested).

2: We go for a more established name like Valverde, who knows how to handle big egos and may scream more "ambition" at Harry, in hopes of getting him out of his funk.

Favre would be a decent middle ground manager to either approach.
No manager is taking a fucking 9 month contract with the poisoned fucking chalice.

The most important bit is at the end, because they cost little and can hopefully be sold for profit. The football is quite clearly not as important to ENIC.

Poch in his time before he came here gave you reason to think that things could change.

Nuno before coming here was shit and played the exact same way we are playing now. There is zero reason to think that things will change under him.

Thank you! The comparisons to Poch’s early reign are sooooo disingenuous.

It’s lot like utd fans saying “Ferguson took 5 years to win something” in defence of Solskjaer.

It's such a dumb excuse. It's like comparing one player who is having a bad start at a club but was fantastic at his old one with another player who is having a bad start who was awful at the old one.

The precedent is there with the former guy, so you give him time. If someone does the same thing over and over and over you don't sit around expecting it to change. Nuno's teams have always been dull, he's not about to change the habit of a lifetime with us.

It’s laughable to think Nuno will:

(a) change his ways

Or

(B) magically get better

If given “time”.

What’s “time” got to do with him using Lucas Moura as the playmaker?

Unless we get a shot at Potter, Ten Hag or someone that might improve us we are kind of stuck.

We have improved in that Nuno at least knows

As stupid as thinking that a 5th manager in 2 years would solve it

Yeah the problem is there's no point backing hopeless cases for the sake of it. You act like a manager can't make progress with the teams style in 3 months when it's objectively untrue. Tuchel had Chelsea's style changed within weeks.

The problem is the style Nuno wants to implement is shite and confused, so we look shite and confused. Nothing will be 'solved' with a new manager, but we might at least start playing football which doesn't send you in to a coma.

If this is what he is doing then that is beyond the pale. That's not a strategy. That's actively regressing.

I love Poch as much as the next guy, but we need to be willing to move on and let him return organically instead of sitting around waiting for daddy to get home from the shop.
Oh I agree but I think that's what is happening here, I also think Nuno was a stop gap appointment
