Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

£130m...?!!! Wake up and smell the coffee, mate, we will be lucky to get £80m for him right now.
I'd give my left testicle for a £100m bid from City for him now, let alone £130m
I’d recommend avoiding the term “we” there is no “we” in any of this. Kane gets sold and they will adjust the accounting ledgers and enable Steve Hitchin to go buy youth prospects from Leeds and Fulham.

There is no “we” and there is no “Tottenham Hotspur FC” really. Because what that means is not what this bullshit is.

We are anchor tenants.

Haven't participated for very long on here. But I realise that once someone disagrees with something you say they track everything you say and disagree with it 🤣🤣🤣

this team was winning without kane

The team won 2 games in which we looked awful in and had almost zero threat to score.

If you want to use those games to justify players with 2, 3 and 4 goals the past two seasons to be the key players in our attack then you are a fucking moron.

Lucas hasn’t scored in 20 PL games but somehow taking out Kane will turn him into a goal scoring machine???

Of course it won’t. He has shown he can’t score in the PL the evidence is right there. He doesn’t bring enough with peak Kane and Son playing next to him let alone taking out Kane and having a less effective Son playing out of position.

This.

Bergwijn Son Lucas front 3 will never work long term

In both those games we were lucky. Wolves/City were wasteful and we created very little.

I said it in the game thread. That one City game will be used as an example to ignore the multitude of other games we have had recently.

And honestly we didn’t really play well in that game at all.

Against PL Teams Since Last Season w/o Kane Starting

Man City (PL) - 1-0 Win
Wolves (PL) 1-0 Win

Chelsea (Pre Season) - 2-2 Draw
Woolwich (Pre Season) - 1-0 Win
Chelsea (EFL) - 1-1 Win on Penalties and without Son too
Southampton (PL) - 2-1 Win

Chelsea (PL) - 1-0 Loss
Brighton (PL) - 1-0 Loss

5 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses

Wins against City, Chelsea, and Woolwich

One truly bad game against Brighton.

Yeah, but we're so much worse off with Kane and if we do win without him, it's all luck.

:mourweird:

What offer do you mean exactly? Do you have a link / source to confirm?

I can no more post a link to confirm this than I can about Morrissons being sold.

Its confidential business.

But it's true.

Kane was wanted by man City who wanted a striker. Kane wanted to go. Kane pressed for the move. Levy wanted more money so they bought grealish. Kane come back from being on strike.

I can you lead you water....

I'm glad he was booed but surely Levy knew this was going to happen. Look at it from Kane's viewpoint. You're the club's main striker with an academy striker the only alternative. You stayed at a club for years scoring lots of goals. The club is now going nowhere and you're near the end of your career with no trophies to show for it. But the club blocks your dream move and last hope of winning something.

Did Levy really fucking think Kane was going to come out and work his bollocks off especially knowing the team were almost solely dependent on him for goals? He, rightly or wrongly, has fallen out with Levy/ENIC so it was obvious he'd start acting the prick.

Levy is either a complete simpleton or just such a cheapskate he was happy to have a disgruntled senior player the club's main striker for the season.

Don't care honestly. At this point, I'd take lucky. Because now we're just shit.

I was mistaken when I said Kane would still be worth what we were asking next summer because of his contract. I based that statement on the assumption that he would still be Harry Kane this season. The way he's playing, we'll be lucky to get a £70M bid.

However, in the midst of retaining his services, Spurs seemed to forget that a squad needs more than two players to score goals. Their supporters were told that they were looking for a partner for Kane, with strong speculation that both Lautaro Martinez and Dusan Vlahovic were on their shopping list. Strangely, as the speculation that Kane was leaving ended, funnily enough so did any links to incoming strikers – much like my house search when I realised that I couldn’t sell my current one for the price I wanted. Not to be cynical of course, but it was almost as if those players were being looked at as Kane replacements rather than players to complement him.

Kane excuse is laughable and Leicester have shown Tottenham up completely
