This is a mischaracterization of people's position. No one is denying Kane is 'alright' and a 'valuable player'; in fact, that is the exact thing it seems

are saying. Kane is 'alright' and 'valuable' but not to the level that most on this board think (i.e. he is not world class). As such, he should have been sold this summer when the disparity between his actual playing worth to us and his market value was the greatest. The 'debate' beyond that is just fun. It's those two rhetorically kicking everyone else's ass mixed in with a few whiners complaining that they are in fact kicking everyone else's ass. It's amusing. The issue we should be concerned about is the folks who are being royally smashed in here not even remotely changing their positions as the tag team piss all over their points.
Hold it, are you suggesting that a striker could have value and worth to a team without the scoring of goals? I really don't understand how this could be but what would it look like? And seeing as Harry was valued for his goals would it be possible for him to be as valuable to us without them? If so, then what would he have to do on the field to satisfy this? This sounds like an interesting prospect if this could be executed properly.

Kane is having a shit season by his own standards so far. We've still got most of it remaining. Moura has never scored goals and gets away with it just because he comes across as a nice bloke and had one purple patch that lasted a second half. He averages around a goal every 10 games in the Premier League for fucks sake.

The reason I agree with those guys comments alot is that Kane has been selected on historical performance for too long. He is not the player he once was. The media and consequently the fans and it seems previous managers are blind to dropping him. If he wasn't Kane and was bought in from another club and performed like he has would he get so much slack. Drop him and retrain him. If Conte can't get a tune out of him. Get him out.
