It's not Harry's fault we didn't invest wisely or anything like enough, despite the fact that you like to blame him for everything, including whenever you have the shits no doubt. It's exactly the reason why he wants out in the first place.

We play him regardless of his form because we have nobody else, for the above reason, and playing Bergwijn and Moura together in the same team isn't the answer for anything unless you enjoy being in the bottom half of the Premier League.
 
I've read Conte saying that he rates Kane highly playing as an out and out penalty area striker. On that basis he and his team will be building his fitness and confidence for that job over the next week's and months. Let's see if Kane can hack in it.

Which means not writing him off after one game under Conte because he didn't score, in a game in which we spent most of it getting battered because of a Romero brain fart.

It was an own goal. You're right in that if he hadn't of made that run, the goal doesn't happen. But a sharper Kane would have been on to it before the defender got there, in my opinion.

Its not Harry's fault at all. He was happy to leave. The cunt owner got greedy and wanted more than he's worth.
 
If Kane was a car engine the clock would read 500,000 miles. For too many years now he’s had to shoulder the burden of being the only striker in the club. The only time the poor bloke ever got a rest was when he got injured.
Maybe he needs to adapt his game now to be a more Lllorente type player

Contes tactics were evident for half an hour.
But our mentality is still with us of course.

One thing that stood out is that Kane is too slow for the football we want to play.

That some people STILL haven’t worked this out is mind boggling.

Demand fast flowing pressing attacking football.
Demand we build our team around a footballer who can’t press and is isn’t fast enough to play the football I’m demanding

Talking about what Conte's tactics are doing or not doing is far too premature. Only thing evident was that we changed formation and for half an hour our players were really pumped up until we gave a goal away through shite defending and they started feeling sorry for themselves again.

Your last part is true though. There could be changes made to incorporate one of our best goalscorers ever. But we cant adapt the whole play style to get the best out of Kane. Someone younger, faster with some real goalscoring ability instead would be much better. Just unfortunate that other than Kane and Son (who is also getting on and not as good as he used to be) , we just dont have many players who can score consistently.

The trouble with Lucas is that he is so easily pushed off the ball on his runs. Invariably he ends up on the ground In a heap.

Problem is he had a perfectly decent game, wasn’t shit at all. 7/10 game in which he played a big part in the win.
