Looks like Villa are going to get Gerrard in. And Rangers are looking to replace him with Russel Martin at Swansea.

It must be weird being Swansea. On one hand you constantly have to change managers, but more often than not it is because they are doing a good job and get recruited to bigger jobs. Which says something about how Swansea are run.
Call me bitter but I really want to see Gerrard fail in management. Can not stand the guy. I'm really glad we dodged him in the Summer, his crowning achievement is beating Neil Lennon to a title. I think Villa could have done better.

Martin only joined Swansea from MK Dons in the summer, didn’t he?

Fat Frank on the brink of Norwich job.

Gerrard def. got the better end of that stick eh.....?

Gerrard’s title at Ranger plus his nice brand of football has probably put him ahead. Lampard’s Chelsea where turgid, as we all know managers tend to stick to a style. Fergie changed over time but most managers are what they are. Which is bad for Fat Frank, needs to speak to his uncle I think.

Fair, but where FL trumps Gerrard is EPL experience and a top 4 finish despite the racists having a trf ban.

Meanwhile, one job is pretty much destined for the champo again whereas Villa have a far better squad than their position in the table suggests.

Predicted Italy line up for this evening.

Donnarumma; Di Lorenzo, Bonucci, Chiellini, Emerson; Barella, Jorginho, Locatelli; Chiesa, Bernardeschi, Insigne

Barella and Chiesa auditioning for Spurs I should think.

It doesn't, no. But I don't think this is a fluke, and if I had to put money on it I'd go for them to finish above us this season as well. They look a better all round unit, and Conte coming in mid-season isn't ideal for him.

They may not be 'well run' as an overall club, but on a football level they have a structure to them and they're a side who teams don't relish playing. We still have work to do just to catch up on that.
Better run in the last two years maybe.

Here is the point difference before then starting with 2019/20 and going backwards: 20, 19, 35, 41, 8

West Ham is not a better run club than Spurs. They are having a peak in the cycle (partly because of good decisions) and we are near the bottom of our cycle (partly due to poor decisions). And they are slightly ahead of us.

What exactly our West Ham's accomplishments to say they are better run than Spurs? Finishing ahead of us for one (maybe two years)?
