It's what Kane does. Score in bunches against shit/inferior teams but struggle against good/top level opposition. This season, he can't even score against average PL sides.

Where are bad Tottenham fans like SammySpurs (I call him SammyPalace) who want Kane out so they can spend the money on Solomon Rondon and Joelinton?
The media have been undermining Harry Kane for England and for Tottenham but a few Woke Mirror readers who claim to support Spurs fall for this and line up alongside the enemy who hate Spurs. Kane is Tottenham's last England player and the captain, an honour for any footballer.
I'll give people like SammySpurs a last chance to apologise and state how wrong and dopey he was (and that applies to ALL the rotten Tottenham fans who said the same) . BTW I listened to ITV and Sky's commentaries: Martin Tyler was almost bored on Sky every time England scored. He does that commentary whenever he does Tottenham but this was England. When will his hatred of Spurs take a break?? Lee Dixon made a few snide remarks on Kane's goals saying even he would've scored 3 against Albania, then (maybe when Matterface gave him a look) he gave some credit.

Its a lot easier now, but it's the same game with the same 11 v 11
When Maradona started running stats were 5km a game, when he ended 10km.
Since then pitches, tackles, yellow cards etc. make it hard to compare. Not judging on what is best or hardest but comparisons become less and less relevant imo.
I don't think it's wholesale easier or tougher....... Varying elements just mean it's a different, evolved game.
Easier for attacking/technical players (better pitches, more ref protection etc.), but much tougher being a defensively inclined player these days and it's far more athletically demanding in general.
