Non Pen Goals / Shots Last Season

Son: 16 goals / 67 shots
Bale: 11 goals / 38 shots
Kane: 19 goals / 133 shots

Son and Bale scored 8 more non pen goals on 28 less shots than Kane.

Kane took double the shots of Son to score 3 more goals.

:mourweird:

Just remember you’re talking to the type of people who reply to the notion that signing Immobile and Vlahovic with the Kane money would have yielded us more than 23 goals with:

Would they have got 14 assists though

Our fans are so damaged they would sign Haaland and use him as a playmaker

:contefacepalm:

I’m really surprised that I’m reading any doubt about Kane’s prowess last season, and further nonplussed by the fact that it’s resting on the argument that two other world class forward combined managed to out score him.

Incredible.

Further confused by how him scoring lots of close range goals ours a criticism. He scored loads from close range because of his movement to escape defenders, his touch and composure under pressure, his strength and accuracy, the quality of his heading and the work he put in to constantly be a nuisance to defenders. It’s the single hardest set of skills to combine in the game and in actual football, not FIFA, it leaves you with an exceptional striker.

Funny how some people rate Vlahovic so highly who, as of yet, has had one and a quarter good season's in an average competition like Serie A and yet say little positive about Harry Kane who has consistently challenged for the Golden Boot in the Premier League for almost 10 years, the most difficult and taxing competition in Europe.

Forgetting stats, from a purely physical/technical perspective, what can Harry do that Vlahovic can't do?

Now flip that question. What can Vlahovic do that Harry can't do?

There's your answer.

Win Golden Boots for club and country for a start.

Maybe Vlahovic will get their one day. But he's literally had 1 and a half good season's in his career as of yet in what is a rotten league compared to what it once was.

You haven't answered my question:

And seeing as you always like to bring up Harry's goals, who they are against, I wonder what you make of Vlahovic's last two hat-tricks being against the mighty Benevento and Spezia? Basically two teams that wouldn't get out of the English Championship.

He's not won Golden Boots yet. Granted he's only 21. But Kane has shown he can do it season after season after season. As of yet, Vlahovic obviously hasn't.

And Serie A is no comparison these days to the Premier League. It's an average league. Give him the rest of the season to adapt and Tammy Abraham will soon be scoring 20+ goals a season for Roma.
