Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Contes’ presence has definitely re- energised the home support. The last 2 games have been played with a fantastic atmosphere in the stadium. That helps feed the players energy levels, it’s wonderful having the stadium rocking

Conte's already figured it out - what was so obvious and there for everyone to see

The less we play Harry Kane ball and the less we make Kane our focal point, the better off we are

Who would have thought that allowing players to play freely without always looking for Kane would result in a more dynamic/unpredictable team?

Results are already showing as we've had Son, Lucas, Berg, Regi, PEH, Kane, and Sanchez all scoring.

The minute we go back to forcing Harry Kane ball down players' throats is the minute we will start playing like shit

With or without Kane, the future for us is bright as long as we back Conte

For those complaining about the substitutions, what Conte said postgame:

“Many players who played today had Covid and at one point in the game the intensity dropped. For this reason I made substitutions. It was good not to concede a goal, to make the semi-final but I know that we had to manage this situation also on Sunday and then Tuesday. This period will be very tough for us.”

This is pretty mental

It's not mad, it just shows how much Nuno didn't put in to team fitness as well as how fucking terrified our players are of Conte.
Could you imagine being in the end of a Conte dressing down, especially if it's about fitness? Staring down the barrel of a gun and making sure the trigger works proba ly has better repercussions than being the man who ran the least during a Conte game.

So that confirms they were poor subs…..but at least there was a good reason for it

Amazing how people thought but was a good tactical move though “because Conte did it”

The truth is that all the other clubs in the league and their fans are terrified of the position we’re in. They’ve gotten used to us being mediocre. Now Conte has come in and changed the game. They know we will only get better from here and they are absolutely bricking it.

I mean it didn’t work out, I also think we just ran out of gas all across the pitch in the last twenty or thirty minutes which isn’t surprising considering we’ve barely played or practiced in the last two weeks and had double digit players out with COVID.

Is it really a surprise or indictment on the team/manager that we tired out and chose to sit back a bit with the lead considering the circumstances?
