Match Tottenham Vs Palace - Boxing day - 3pm (Live on BT Sport)

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

As much as it sucks to call off a match at the last minute, Shirley the health conditions should dictate it, rather than the inconvenience it causes to the fans.

I mean, even if there are clear guidelines, e.g. if less than 5 positives the evening before the match goes on, what if there are an additional 10 positives the day of? Yes, the tests should be done first thing in the morning, but even that would not be enough advance notice for a number of fans.

So yeah, it's a clusterfuck, but what are the alternatives?
Transparent protocols wmd criteria

Tests by 7am, decision by 8am

That’s not sensible on health grounds though. You can easily become infectious overnight. Tests need to be done in the morning before the players start mixing. Otherwise you could have players who are infectious without even knowing it.

That quote is from his press conference two days ago. They have had more positives since then.
Just have lemsip in the club medics bag

Sorted

But seriously… there has to be a cut off point as you could go from incubation to having it during an actually game .

If this goes ahead I'm disappointed in football.london creating this story too early...gonna mean a very low attendance because fans won't want to take the risk ...better that journalists only write this stuff when more info is confirmed....you could look at it that they are trying to give fans more notice than they would have otherwise but I think the stress is causes if the info isn't certain is worse

Would be low attendance anyway. I'm not going and couldn't resell my ticket. I'm sure many are in a similar boat because of transport.

Modern "journalism", doesn't matter if you're right as long as you're first to report it.
