Thing is Conte doesn’t normally use an attacking AM. He plays a deep lying play maker whose job is to thread the ball into the forwards and wing backs , the other two CM’s then operate more like Skipp driving forward, winning tackles and tracking runners.

For his system Brozovic would be the deep lying playmaker and perhaps someone like Kessie to play with Skipp.

Brozovic
Skipp Kessie

Both Brozovic and Kessie’s contract end this season and they can sign pre contracts in Jan.
Could we get Neves ?

But no one can name anyone who would replace Ndombele/ GLC in our squad.

Kessie/Brozovic/Phillips role would be competing with Hojbjerg in the team.

And even if Conte plays 3-4-3, which means there's no room for an attacking mid in XI, it is dangerous to have a whole squad with no creative players. Especially as some teams like Southampton with 10 men, just sit back.

I don't see what part you're at odds with.... People want to see TN and/or GLC replaced.

343: Brosovic (Winks) / Skipp (PEH)

Not ideal (and I'd certainly like to see further quality brougt in come the summer), but any half-decent press destroys TN & Gio (+ Dele) anyway so we're no worse off and we might just be improve in the short term.

Winks has been fine so far under Conte

But we really need to be replacing players of his standard if we want to do something under him

Winks generally does this when new managers come in aswell, he’ll be sulking and moaning to the press once his minutes dry up

Not sure why everyone is obsessed with goal scoring midfielders. If we play 3 attackers in theory they should have more than enough.

I mean look at Bruno Fernandes, can’t pass, can’t tackle, least press resistant player you can think of but amazing in and around the box. Goal scoring midfielders like Fernandes, peak Dele Alli, Siggy, Dempsey generally can’t run games, for what you get with their goals you lose back in their lack of midfield control.

Their are exceptions like De Bruyne but those are rare players beyond our budget.
Agree with the rest but Fernandes can't pass? He quite regularly drops the ball onto a plate for Ronaldo to finish (see Spurs game).
