Yeah, just a non-starter all round.

Lukaku to Juve and De Ligt to Chelsea it is then.
Lukaku to start talking about wanting to go back at some point in April.

What do you expect from an ENIC signing though? 99% of them are disappointments or failures. The sad thing about Ndombele situation is that he’s literally exactly the player we need, in terms of technical attributes.
He’s cost our club a lot of money and clearly doesn’t give 100% effort- an absolute disgrace.
I really did LOL..

To be fair he’d be a good backup 9
Has anyone actually watched De ligt often I have have a fair bit. The bloke is seriously not worth those wages. Dutch Eric Deir.Lukaku to Juve and De Ligt to Chelsea it is then.

I think most people took Contes’ thoughts on Winks exactly as you have just explained. No more no less.Conte saying he trusts Winks does not mean he does not want upgrades in central midfield.
I read it as him saying that Winks has proven he can be relied upon as a squad option capable of following instructions until the end of the season. Nothing to get your knickers in a twist over.
How so? Feet like breeze blocks and inclined to switch off?Has anyone actually watched De ligt often I have have a fair bit. The bloke is seriously not worth those wages. Dutch Eric Deir.
Talented but physically listless, full of himself and not near good enough to be a difference-maker for us in any position really. I think he's a way off proving he can be a consistent PL player, not mind a team striving to compete near the top of it.Someone on reddit suggested adding Cantwell from Norwich to give us some midfield depth.
I could see some logic in this. He was one of Norwich's few shining lights the last time that they were in the Premier League. He and Skipp had great chemistry at Norwich, and he could play both in the central midfield or as one of the interior 10s behind Kane.
Norwich reportedly want around 30 mil and he is homegrown. He hasn't shined this season but he has reportedly had a falling out with management.

OK, I know I am absolutely out of step with most of the posters on TFC but replacing Doc is way down at the bottom of our priorities IMO.Potential players to transfer in, Jan & Summer 2022:

Henderson
Johnstone
To replace Sanchez/ Rodon at RCB/CB:
Bremer
Skriniar
To compete w/ Davies at LCB:
Schlotterbeck
P. Torres
To replace Doherty at RWB:
#1 (Click link for separate thread)
To replace Hojbjerg at CM:
Kessie
Brozovic
To replace Ndombele/ GLC at AM:
Pasalic
Wirtz
Milinkovic Savic
To replace Bergwijn at RW:
Nkunku
Goncalves
To back up Kane at CF:
Vlahovic
Schick
Julian Alvarez
The worst kind of merc. Always looking for greener grass.
I think he has said more or less the opposite about Bergwijn and Rodon.
I think Conte said that Rodon is the back up to Dier in the middle of the back 3, but Dier is very hard to leave out right now.Talk is cheap, he literally never plays Rodon. He is our 6th choice CB right now.
