Do any clubs have a decent track record of successful signings in the last five years?
Manure's scouting team is dictated to by online polls
Dippers haven't done much and when their aging players' bodies stop responding to the totally legal "asthma treatment" they will be mid table
I see a few suck off Leicester but they are bottlejobs of the highest order
Chavs have spunked so much on strikers alone. I'd be investigating the clubs who buy chav players as to where they get that sort of money which keeps chelski within FFP. But then again a club that is happy to run up a 1.4Bn IOU to a Russian mobster is hardly going to be squeaky clean.
Villa perhaps?
Is this for real???
IN the past 5 years Liverpool brought in VVD, Alisson, Salah, Robertson, Fabinho, Keita, Jota, Thiago and Konate. Even Origi for the price is a decent buy considering what the paid. In what universe is that not a good record of signings? It is the back bone for them to win the Title, CL title and likely on a run of top 2 finishes for at minimum 5 years. How could you have much of a better transfer record than that?
Leicester has brought in a lot of talent like Fofana, Soyencu, Tielmans, Ineacho that helped them win the FA Cup and compete for top 4. Them being bottlers doesn't mean the transfers haven't been great.
Chelsea brought in players that won them the CL last year, trying to pretend like that isn't impressive is ridiculous.
City brought in the Player of the Season in which they won the title, how is that not good?
West Ham had their best season in forever on the back of them bringing in guys like Bowen, Soucek, Benrahma.
So yes lots of clubs have had good transfers in the past 5 years.
