Just listening to Ally Gold's most recent thoughts on Ndombele. Says he doesn't believe anyone wants him and the amount that Tottenham would want isn't close to what people would offer. Chalks that up to the fact that we signed him on a "pre-covid era" contract and in the current climate teams aren't spending the same. Also says Ndombele believes he should be at a club like Barca or Real or Bayern which is making him harder to unload.
Anyone with an internet connection can see what’s happening with Ndombele, it’s very much out in the open. You’d have to be an ingrate to be tricked into purchasing him.

The far bigger surprise would be if anyone was in interested him. Getting a third of what we spent on him and his contract off our books would be the greatest fleece job since the Louisiana Purchase.

He's still got 3 years left on his contract as well. Complete disaster

Well, blame Poch all you like, he was certainly the only person in the whole shitshow held accountable.

Not a question of choosing to blame him as much as it's only right not to exonerate him...... Everything points to 19/20 being HIS choices.

Even in 18/19 he's part of the conversation.

We both know concept of a Chairman sacking himself is absurd...... Hitchens must do something to engender such loyalty... Fuck knows what though.

Also in further regards to Joe Lewis, I’d like to remind everyone that he is widely reported to own over 1.5 billion in artwork and in 2018 spent 90m on a Hockney painting.

The club and ownership have more than enough money to be competitive, we just have an owner who doesn’t give a toss about football, it is just another line in the portfolio. We could be bought by someone with half Lewis’s net worth and spend way more money.

He's said that before.

The club doesn't even needs the owners money.

The owners just need to

1) hire some football people
2) let the football people manage the football within the clubs operational fiscal framewor
3) and step the fuck away from trying to manage themselves.

Which will never happen.

Since the FC is what fuels the investment. Not the other way around.

You know the facts don't back this up don't you.....?

Yeh, you do.
The facts are Poch stated "we cannot continue to challenge for major honours while spending small money"
We then proceeded to spend £0.00p for the next one and a half years.

These are the facts, my man.

Why can't you just accept that Levy / ENIC let Pochettino, Tottenham Hotspur and all it's fans down, and we're still paying for that criminal negligence today.

The guy is not right in the head.
Fergie used to ask his extensive coterie of pals what a player was "like" before he bought them.
He bought Ronaldo.
Who did we ask before we bought this chancer?

Sure, I agree with your point writ large.

But not having an owner who is ever willing to put in money makes your margin of error so thin, even at the best of times. Let alone when you’re paying off the most expensive stadium in world football and coming off an unprecedented pandemic with massive financial implications.

Lewis sticking some money in to tide us over for a few years would be massive, unfortunately not on the cards.
