Correct. ENIC are purely 'we'll do the bare minimum to stop a full on fan revolt' . They'll chuck out the odd populist fan appeaser like bringing Bale back or Conte but there is no plan to put a consistant top 4 side together again.

Good day for the trolls ..... they've been waiting for 9 games to moan ... and just look at them go.
Did you miss the back to back cup games vs Chelsea where they beat us at a canter in both legs? Also .. people who are desperate for us to do something this window were here the whole time. Last gasp winners vs Watford and Leicester + a draw vs Southampton didn't convince everyone we're golden and good to go.
We have an elite manager who is squeezing every drop he can out of this squad, but he needs help.
Both these clubs are very ambitious it's more than likely they will threaten our top six status especially Newcastle who will win a title in living memory unlike us.
Let's be realistic here. We were overachieving big time since Conte come. We were lucky to be on such a streak, extremely lucky.
The squad is terrible. Kane is out of form, maybe he will get it back, maybe he won't. But if he get injured or his form still struggle, who exactly is going to sub him ? Yeah exactly - no-one.
As i said it last week, our defense is terrible, and it's so obvious when there is fast and creative players against them. We are making tons of individual mistakes, which just speak for lack of class in the players.
This ain't a manager problem, aka tactical problem or so, it's just bad players that struggle against good side.
Any decent fast attacking players are making our defense laughable stock.
We pretty much need a whole new squad, which obviously can't happen in this winter, but maybe the summer we need to change completely. Sell, Buy, Exchange, do what is necessary, but our appearance/face should change.
Obviously we can't get a World Class player, but there is no sense to play bang average players that is obvious from a plane that won't get better. Yeah some are playing above their level, cause of Conte factor, but that won't last forever, and then we will start blaming the coach, when in reality we are full with bang average players.
I prefer to be even out of Champions League position, but get talented young players, that have potential, and that actually have brain in their head and use it, not another one(like we already don't have so many of them) with zero end product player like Traore.
I really don't know with what exactly Levy managed to convince Conte to come, but i just don't see Conte sticking with us for too long.
And that will be a pity cause there is no better names on the market, and there is no way we even get a top prospect manager.
What pisses me most with our Board is that they have some super high demands, like we have Chelsea squad and depth, and like we have and give the money for players like them, and we get this high demands for the managers to produce result straight away, but that has to be done with zero investment at all.
I still can't believe we sacked Poch, after all he has done with us.
Really pissed off after today result. 3 back to back loses to 1 team is always going to make me piss, but this is too much.

I think all signs point towards Traore getting done tomorrow - at least I sure hope so because if it's radio silence then you'd get the sinking feeling that the club social media would look to drag it out and milk it because we'd have nothing else left in the bag before deadline day.

Looks like likely to miss out on even Traore now. I can't describe the hate I have for Levy and ENIC. Like a fucking cancer slowly killing this team and club. Until the fans start to really revolt he will sit there with a smug grin laughing at us all while he keeps earning millions in wages and bonuses.

I think Traore and perhaps Winjaldum in some sort of exchange for Tanguy.

It is unreal how happy some "fans" are with us losing and having a weak side. And those same people think they are cool by trying to mock people who want to see the club succeed.

People should be somewhat realistic at the same time. Some on here expect us to spend like man city and would no doubt be bitching even if we spent more than we are now. Expecting anything more than 1-2 signings in a January window is unrealistic.
But the window's not closed yet, got a week to go and most business gets done towards the end of the window.
Not saying it will be fab but worth waiting til its closed first?
If we're shifting all 3 of GLC, Ndombele and Dele, we need at least Wijnaldum and another midfielder (preferably Kessie). Anything less is a downgrade from our current squad.
After the way people have been building to it there had better be an announcement tomorrow.
We needed deals done early to help Conte in some of these games. I'm happy to wait if the links seem promising but honestly it looks like at absolute best we're bringing in Adama, which is nowhere near enough.
We're in a great position to get top four and have the manager to do it, but a couple of huge holes in this team need to be plugged. We've been pedestrian thus far. If we end up signing 2-3 players of genuine quality fair enough .. but I'll believe it when I see it.
