Remember the way Paratici seems to operate - many many irons in the fire for whatever position they're looking at.

I wouldn't take being linked to him as too concerning, he's just the latest one to get out there into the media. If we sign a midfielder in the next week, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was someone who came completely out of the blue.

Okay but the fact we’re even linked to him is very concerning regarding our budget (and therefore standards)

By 'booked off work' I mean I'll be wfh and ms teams will be set to 'do not disturb' with diary blocked out to prevent unwanted meetings.

Agreed. Seems like we're only after midfielders who can run around a bit and be a bit of a unit in the middle, when we need someone who can actually kick a football a bit. More than enough players at the club already who are decent athletes but not very technical. I get that Conte prefers hard cunts in there but surely there are some of those out there who also know how to dribble and pass the ball?
 
What I take from that is at least the club are looking at midfielders, an area that needs strengthening, I'm all for it but we don't need more shit piled on a squad full of shit.
