You lot have been saying this from day one, and you'll be saying 'the summer' when we end up with Amrabat and nobody else when this window shuts. Guaranteed. The one transfer that was meant to be 'done' is going to Barca, and we all know Diaz isn't happening in a million years.
And of course our failures in the summer are because we couldn't achieve top four, and on and on.
(By the way, 6th and Europa League football is also an important bar we're currently attempting to limbo under)

Well like I said, there is hardly a player in the world that would chose us over Barcelona, it's every players dream, or do you see it differently?
I see it as it's a player we've wanted for a ridiculously long time and we've dithered and dithered over the deal to get the price down, and now Barca have come in and snapped him up. And if we knew about Barca's interest we should have had alternatives ready, but instead we're apparently 'surprised' by this and now will have no improvements coming in.

I'm always first in line to bash that bald stingy twat Levy, but as far as him not wanting to offer more than 15 mil for Traore, I'm with him totally. Traore is 26, been in the Prem a while and he's never really set the scene on fire. Yeah yeah he's big & strong and can bodycheck anybody out the way, but where's the end product?! He's like a gigantic Walcott...gets the ball, runs straight ahead, few tricks here & there, but then sends the ball into row z.
And say you spend 25 mil on him, what sort of profit you expect to make on him in a couple years, when he'll be fast approaching 30 and his pace will start declining?
I say let Barca have him for that 29 mil that's been bandied about. I'd rather we spent 5-10 on that British kid Djed Spence. He's got great potential and can actually play the position
