It's all very quiet on the (lack of) itk front on SC.
I disagree. I think it ain't that hard to judge a player's intangibles like his character, fighting spirit.
Any fan can watch 10-20+ games of any given player pretty easily these days. Just look at his attitude...does he track back, does he fall easy, does he moan at his mates/ref, does he sulk when getting subbed etc. And look at his social media...what sort of thing does he put on here? Is he a flash pretentious bastard or does he actually showcase important values and life principles?
If a fan can do it, there's no excuse for a scout to get it wrong on so many occasions, as is the case with our scouting geniuses
That's a horrendous, incompetent hit rate though, wouldn't you agree? And Emerson is just a small part of that, the fans may have been excited but again, they aren't highly paid professionals working for an entity worth billions.
Obviously some signings will fail. But the sheer amount of failures and fuck ups we manage to produce is extraordinary.

You see, we don’t work at the club and as such we don’t talk with players, talk to agents, know what the manager is requesting, who is up for sale or not, and who is willing to go to THFC.
The management and scouts of our club knows. And they’ve done fuck all.
Therefore it makes sense to criticise without being able to offer alternatives.
You know, like if you criticise a doctor for an obvious mistake without being able to make the surgery yourself.
So I think you’ll find that I do indeed “offer a debate” - however, it is clearly a debate above your level of comprehension.
