Wonder of everyone will confuse option and obligation on an outgoing player like they do with incoming?

Bet there's one player who feels like a right lemon...friggin Van De Beek. Dude's totally flopped at Utd and is about to sign for mighty Palace.

That'll teach you, Blondie. Coulda been a regular at Spurs.

Could have been on our bench and on his way to Palace. Who knows?
Of course we'll never know. But seen the form he was in at Ajax, I reckon he'd have done well at Spurs. Might have taken a few months to show his best form, as was the case with Eriksen, but he'd have gotten there eventually. Lad has mad talent, just needs games. But his fault for going to United for more money

Matt1882 what’s with thee disagree ?

Do you think the premier league is the only league?

I can send you links to the others if you wish

Can’t get excited by Ndombele leaving

Loathsome as he is I’d still rather have him in the squad as an option than some 8th rate clogger that can’t get a game for a mid table Seria A team

That’s even assuming that our genius director of football is able to pull off that stunning coup with such little time left

Id rather he went, simply for the fact that when we're in the mud I know I don't have to long for that lazy piece of shit to come on and change the game, it's the hope that kills you

Doc Doc RESPECT THE COCK RESPECT THE COCK Nabil Bentaleb Nabil Bentaleb
Any of you guys seen Diaz ?

Any good?

Seems like an odd choice to prioritise, position wise - Re Conte?

I want him gone too for sure

But as you kind of alluded to there is always the chance that he could come on and produce a little bit of magic

We’ll become a weaker squad by default if he leaves as it’s clear we ain’t bringing anyone in

I disagree. I think it ain't that hard to judge a player's intangibles like his character, fighting spirit.

Any fan can watch 10-20+ games of any given player pretty easily these days. Just look at his attitude...does he track back, does he fall easy, does he moan at his mates/ref, does he sulk when getting subbed etc. And look at his social media...what sort of thing does he put on here? Is he a flash pretentious bastard or does he actually showcase important values and life principles?

You can make judgements on their SM, but that's not necessarily conclusive (or accurate)..... Otherwise, you've just listed tangible stuff, which depending on position won't necessarily be as pronounced as you suggest anyway.

If a fan can do it, there's no excuse for a scout to get it wrong on so many occasions, as is the case with our scouting geniuses

Swathes of fans had a boner for Ndombele...... Why didn't they clock he was a wrong'n? (e.g. similarly Aubameyang or Ozil before things turned sour with them).

.....I'm not disputing that scouting efforts should concern themselves with this stuff, btw.

...I just don't buy the fan-as-scout rhetoric that many modern fans peddle.

Here's whom I reckon we'll get:

- RWB: Ashley Young on a free...or Victor Moses for 3 or 4 mil + bonuses

- CM: Amrabat on loan...or Fabian Delph for 2-3 mil

- FWD: Shane Long on loan...or Daniel Sturridge on a free & pay-per-play deal

You're laughing but once upon a time our genius of a chairman signed us Ryan Nelsen and Louis Saha

I've just had enough of him tbh

Because he'll produce 10 mins of magic and everyone will get their hopes up only for him to be a complete flop the next time he plays and we're back to square one over and over again.

I've got PTSD with Ndombele, I'm sick of him, sick of the discourse around him, sick of the arguments, sick of his lazy demeanour, sick of his face, sick of his big bum, sick of him dillydallying on the ball I just want him gone, removed, fucked off form the club, never to be seen again...it doesn't do my mental health any good. 😫
