I remember taking a corner when I was about 16 straight off the pitch and getting subbed off immediately

To be fair my corners were never bad before or after that

But this one went about 20 yards off the pitch down hackney marshes
 
I think people are just jaded after the Traore and Diaz guzumpings, only thing that could explain the amount of whingeing going on in this thread at this news.

1. Kulu is a loan with an option to buy, if he's a complete bust we don't sign him
2. If the combined totals are €55m as reported that means we are paying £46m pounds in total (if options are exercised) or £23m each. Cheaper than Chris Wood in today's market for two young players with high level experience and good upside.
3. We currently have fucking WINKS getting regular minutes. Even if Bentancur turns out to be a Skipp/PEH -level player that is still an upgrade on the current situation.

A bit of positivity wouldn't go amiss! Cheer up:

 
Are we ever going to sign anyone decent? Anyone who can take a touch, turn and thread a pass? Are we going to sign a striker for cover or give one of our young strikers a chance? Are we going to bring in a rwb? Or are we going to bring another drab defensive MF slightly better than fatberg and pass it off as a masterstroke while saying we had bids in for Messi and salah but they both had commercial contract deals which just wouldn't let it happen?

Will it be another passionless window of mediocrity with levy telling the manager he tried but in the summer after the stadium naming rights are agreed he will have 4000 trillion billion to spend.....

Personally I don't think we need that much to be competitive for 4/5th but I would never ever gamble on levy brining in the type and quality of player required. We don't have money and I suspect after this window people might finally come to realise that.

Everyday a new player on the horizon but deep down inside you know levy is spreading BS in the press while he haggled and haggled and eventually brining in some guy on loan who hasn't played for his own club for 3 years.

Personally I see Gill and Ndumb as prime examples of our scouting being utter trash. Both utterly flatter to deceive but this would have been obvious to anyone attending games to watch them rather than fn Hitchens watching you tube highlight videos. My g d that's literally what we must have been doing, watching YouTube videos.

I once scored a free kick from my own penalty box to the opposite end at Seven Kings High in Ilford. I was playing right wing back and everyone was having a debate about whether it should have been a free kick or not. Only when the ball was in the net did anyone believe the lanky cunt I was could put it in! Referee gave it eventually!

That said I also got sent off at 19 playing as a ringer for my cousins wife’s employers, the National Blood Service. I took out their central mid after 10 mins, nice foul, solid concussion, straight red. Living up to the blood in the name of the team 😂🤣
