Agreed - Royal's defensive stats are far better, and his attacking stats surprisingly similar to Baku, with the exception of goals/assists where Baku has 4 and Royal one.
The reduced number of assists could simply be his team mates having a much higher shots to goals ration than Baku ie not really anything to do with Royal.
All of which suggests Conte may be able to improve Royal with a little coaching - shame he's away with Brazil atm which is a missed opportunity for coaching.
Their defence of Ndombele and Dele, in particular, has been embarrassing. Talking out their arse!
I suspect Neymar is a good example of that model being put into action
They were worried when Conte came in because they couldn't see where Ndombele would fit in.

So to conclude the transfer window so far with one day to go, I think I've learnt the following:
- We are way down the pecking order in terms of having the attractive power to attract top players compared to say post CL final
- Paratici likes rifling through his old club for gems/duds
- It was just as important getting rid of our wage bandits as bringing in players to help us compete for top 4
- This one especially will be news to you...but we never get players in early and delay transfer dealings until most of the fan base have lost their nut
This my friends, is why we are who we are. The club makes breaks us on occasion but it's moulded us into the wonderful tragedies we are today...

Same username… I just don’t like folks getting ripped off and misled. The business model seems to be built around fake ITK, some real ITK, aggregation of other sources and monetisation of that process.

This was partly professional curiosity and partly fuck you Rob.Rob insisted he would retain my IP address indefinitely to enforce my ban. I always suspected he retained a lot more than just an IP address… He’s not as clever as he thinks he is, but he doesn’t need to know what I know…
I did post a guide on how I did it on here or another forum, can’t remember. That post got taken down so I guess there is some solidarity between mods
I had a good laugh when someone mentioned GDPR on a later SC thread and Rob had a panicky meltdown because he thought I was back. If he has nothing to hide, he would not need to worry, and that told me a lot about him.
Truth is I prefer it on TFC and lurk quietly on many forums, and don’t really have a grudge against anyone. I do still object to people being misled and ripped off, but having dealt with Rob personally I have no desire to do so again. If folks choose to send him money and believe what he writes, that’s up to them.

PSG haven't sold anybody, therefore can't sign anybody. That's why they couldn't sign N'Dombele.

Still not nice to use that language about the guy just because he might lack some bedside manner when disagreeing with someone. I’ve been chatting to the guy for near 20 years and originally was constantly in disagreement with him, but he’s just another guy supporting his club and giving his views, and like you, me, and everyone else, they’ll sometimes be wrong and they’ll sometimes be delivered with a lack of compromise.
Anyway I don’t want to start anything when there’s so much actual transfer stuff to discuss for once, just wanted to stand up for someone who I consider to be a decent bloke who isn’t here to defend himself.
And I don’t post there, I got the old ban. Not for totally dissimilar reasons to those which you posted about SC here

He got sent off for Brazil (2 yellows second very dubious) after 20 minutes, I think he's already back in the UK, as he will be banned for the Paraguay game, not 100% sure will find out tomorrow.
Unless United/Woolwich/WH pull off some game-changing signing tomorrow then you have to conclude that we are better placed to land 4th than we were at the beginning of the window in relative terms.
We would have also managed (hopefully) to get the heaviest deadwood out of the club if everything goes to plan.
It sets us up nicely for the summer window if we can get top 4 and not have to waste so much time getting deadwood out that no one wants.
The likes of Winks/Doherty/Emerson/Sanchez/Rodon are not on crazy wages and will have plenty of suitors if we aim to shift some of them out.
I'd say the only glaring weaknesses are Emerson and maybe the lack of a true playmaker in CM - but I will reserve judgement until I see more of Benty.
Davies has been solid under Conte but I'd still love Pau Torres (or similar) in there.
We then have the likes of Lucas, Sanchez, Bergy, PEH, Tanganga as squad players rather than starters.
