I don't think the window is perfect, but the club identified Lo Celso, Ndombele, and Dele as of little value to the club and got them out and is identifying replacements. I don't think we know if the two replacements will be a success yet. We know the 3 outs were not going to be. It's ridiculous to overreact like this is an amazing or terrible window because none of us know yet.

Teams aren't exactly lining up to give us high quality replacements. This isn't a video game where you can make it happen at will and the potential of players is known.

Agree. Whether they are good replacements or better options will become apparent in 6, 12 months time or in 2 years.

At the end of the day we had 3 players, pretty much sat on the bench taking huge wages out of the club. Even if we are freeing up space and wages and don't replace until the summer its good work.

Bentancur is an experienced and reliable professional at the highest level, I'm much happier with him in the team than Ndombele or Lo Celso.

No idea about Kulu but he looks promising.

I'm just somewhat concerned we're too light in midfield and STILL have no backup pure striker.

Admittedly it would take a crazy bid, like minimum 40-50mil, to get Villa to even consider selling him this late in the TW.

But, had we moved for him on Jan 1st, maybe things coulda been different.

Guess we'll never know and will have to hope that Conte can turn Emerson into a half decent RWB within the coming weeks. Or that Doherty magically rediscovers his Wolves form

This would all make so much more sense if we had a RWB too. Then again, maybe Conte thinks that Doherty can do a job for a few months.

If we play 3/4/3 though, that’s still a really workmanlike midfield.
