We were not very good but it was two keystone cop moments that cost us that game,as opposed to a draw(we were never winning it).
Kane was good,made look worse that he was by trying to do too much. Son was mmm. Effort there ,but his finished product isn't back to what it was.
Apart from that,no stand out shit or good players.
Pissed off.
 
I guess that's the outcome of two teams who want the opposition to have the ball most of the time. As the home team it is incumbent upon us to try to be on the front foot and it backfired.

It's a bit galling that one of the 2 absolutely nailed on starters has cost us the chance to get anything from the game, but it was a cat sick performance generally. Not really worthy of even a point. However had Hugo not given them 2 goals in the first 20 minutes we would have had at least a point.

I would also suggest that's likely the final nail in the coffin of expectations/chances of CL qualification. To think West Ham and the scum are likely to be battling it out for 4th spot makes me feel more than slightly nauseous.

Many Fans refuse to look past the window dressing in order to see the truth.

José and Conte aren't the only Spurs managers to end up in this shit-hole. In fact, every manager I know of has so far been the problem.

Rednapp and Poch for me probably had the best run and they too fell flat.

If you claim to be top 6, you have to have a top 6 team. We don't.

Spurs DNA, Flamboyant football, attacking football, high press........ All a lot of bullocks when you have Sanchez and Davies for cover. All wasted breath when you have Winks, PEH, in the CM (Betancur I haven't seen enough to make an informed opinion on). Sess, Regie, Doherty and Emerson as Wing Backs leaves any manager with no choice. I hate to make Levy supporters feel bad but Kulu has a good Football brain but he is way too slow and one footed (You can't have both the same time).

No style of football will be able to work successfully with these names. Not 1 of the players mentioned would make a True top 6 squad, yet they make up 60 percent of our starting 11.
 
Levy and Lewis are trying to sell the club , you would of thought that they would put some money and buy proper top 4 players and increase the value of there asset ,typical two Bob cunts they bought Spurs fir £20 mill and trying to sell it for £ 3 Billion......how much profit do they want to make .

No manager at Spurs gets what he wants. He gets some form of compromise. I like Berg and I see him as a backup striker. But not as a play maker. Kulu was bought as a playmaker or a winger. I really don't think he cuts it for either. Until we spend for the right reason, we won't get anywhere.

One doesn't buy a Porsche and then decide to install a Beetle engine. Both lay claim to the same DNA but one just outshines the other. That's why you pay so much.

Jose and Conté are Porsches. Levy decided to retrofit them with players more likened to a VW Beetle. It doesn't work when you claiming to be the best.
 
Ok so I did not rush to this judgment. I have watched us live a dozen times this season under two coaches. I've not been for a bit because work. I've enjoyed very little of it. The opening day win over City, the win over Leicester being standout and almost entirely about the results.

Now I'm prepared to give Conte time and respect for what he achieved before, as I did with Jose; like Jose (and I said this when we were top to dogs abuse) it's not what I want or belive the football of a title winning team looks like, regards possession, breaking down oponents, or chance creation. With Mourinho I knew what I was watching would not change, with Conte I have a slim hope that (reactive though his teams are) we will look better when Winks, Hojbjerg , Emerson, Davis, Tanganga, are gone.

What deeply concerns me unless we are about to get an infusion of funds into the club ENIC level investment in the team won't fix what's wrong. We have been left to atrophy so completely that replacing the players I've named only gets you par. I don't care who the coach is this team has a 7th place celling.

To improve the team (TRIGGER WARNING) Kane Son Loris Lucas Reguilon need replacing with players who are younger and in all but one case are now there better. That's 250 million pounds worth of investment minimum in a team in the Europa League. Its not happening.

Even if Levy produces the naming rights and an investor provides this capital, who trusts Paratici to find Conte players better than the first let alone the second group. Just as concerning who trusts Conte to get the kind of footballers who actually make me a Spurs fan.....Levy built a stadium and its surroundings he let the football team die completely in the mean time. He can not nor seems minded to fix it. This is a very hard time to love this club
