One has to look at Kulu and be honest about his good and weak points.

He has a Great 'Football Mind'. He has a Great Left foot. He is reasonably tough. He shows a willingness to work hard.

However he is extremely one footed. He always turns in the same direction, once teams work this out, he'll have to find an alternative. He is slow when compared to Lucas. He doesn't have the Arial capabilities Lucas does (For his height, Lucas is extremely good in the air).

My belief is that he would be Good for some Games and Not so Good for others. Conté will have to tactically manage him and Lucas.

It's too early to decide if he is Great or Average. One can't use one or two games to decide that.

I think Kulu certainly shows promise and I hope that he continues to develop as he gets used to his team mates and the PL. Same goes for Hot Rod and any other new signings.

I agree with you....... but you can see, in a very short time frame, that this fella is a proper footballer.
By that I mean he works hard and more importantly he gets his head up and looks for the pass and as the ability to see the pass. Something we've been lacking for a long time.

It's true though that it's too early to tell whether he'll be great, mediocre, or poor.
I can't see him being the latter btw.

That's EXACTLY what he's not, he has a very strong left foot, sure, but he can also put in a diamond of a cross with his right like he did against City to assist the winner!
