He's a purple patch player. He'll probably go 7 or 8 without scoring. I do quite like him though. I wonder if playing for a better club than Leeds could take him up a level.

This season maybe. He clearly wants out and it's had an effect on both his performances and work-rate, just as it did Kane for us earlier on this season. But last season his ground covered stats were up there for Leicester.

I think it's just a theory based on workrate and being schooled by Bielsa.
We need to stay away from players like Maddison, players like him are far too expensive because they are English and playing for PL clubs. If we are going to sign someone like him we should be signing them before they explode, not after. We should be looking at the best young players in the Championship (like Maddison, Bowen, Grealish etc were) and signing them for £20m not waiting until they take the PL by storm and then paying £60m for them.
We could get Lewis-Potter from Hull, Djed Spence from Boro and Madueke from PSV altogether for the same price we'd have to pay for Maddison/Lamptey etc.
