He's not nearly as revered as he was a couple of years ago.... With good reason.

Dunno about you, I want guys that would bleed for the shirt.

Eh? He was most hyped up last season. That FA cup winning goal, a great league season, there were loads of rumours about top teams wanting him.

It's only really this season the hype is died as it's become pretty clear he wants out and has been very disinterested.

Their fans were already digging him out over the course of last season.

Saw some fairly dodgy performances myself (even though I don't go out of my way to watch them).

Players like Rice, Bissouma & Phillips have put him in the shade over the last couple of years.

That’s alright then. It’s fairly plain to see he’s head and shoulders above Leicester and justifiably he’s got the prick about not being to able to leave

Last couple of seasons I'd say he's been mostly very good for Leicester and probably the peak of his hype aside from when he was a kid at Anderlecht and everyone rated him as this huge, generational talent. He's always been a little bit flaky though.

Lets suppose that's true.... He's playing for a team that just won a cup and narrowly missed out on Top 4..... He thinks he's above that? ...It's not like he was denied a move having had some mega offer from an elite club......

Fuck that shit. Swerve.

Fix…. I was taking the piss

Basically he’s downed tools because he thinks he a Charlie big potato

Add it to the list of reasons not go in for him

Edit: plus imo Leicester is his level

Tielemans is overrated and would be overpriced.

We need to leverage Conte and Paratici's Serie A knowledge to find more gems. Our 3 best signings in recent years have come from that approach.

Even with the team getting towards firing on all cylinders, good wins by big margins etc, still fairly obvious where the upgrades are needed.

People like Emerson, Doherty/Reguilon on the left, and I'd lump in Davies as well, might be doing alright in recent weeks and Conte is getting something out of them in terms of productivity and half decent performances. But if you just watch the 90 minutes and general passages of play their abilities on the ball and all-round technique and what they bring to the table then they are the most limited. That doesn't mean everything they do is useless, that they don't have positive moments, that they haven't contributed.... but still, these are the areas we can and should look to be improving.

Agree with this. In the current 11 its the wing backs, Davies and i'd add Hojbjerg that are easiest to upgrade. Then some of the squad, Sanchez, Winks, Moura. Some have done ok but that group are probably less technically gifted than other members of the squad.
